From order to delivery takes way too long!:This is my second order with 1001 Modelkits, and again the time from the confirmation to the actual delivery is unbelievably long. My most recent order was made on June 11 and as of this review (July 6) I still DO NOT HAVE IT! It is just a mask for a canopy on a 1:48 scale plane, and yet it cannot be delivered quicker than one month. That is just way too long. My first order was so long in being shipped and delivered that I actually had to reorder the item through another distributor and got it within a few days. Finally my original order arrived, and now I don't need it any longer. Sorry, but something has to be done about processing and shipping orders much faster.
Would a additional delivery option:Would like to have a delivery option that would NOT require a signature conformation.
Net aanvaardbaar:- Trage verwerking, lange levertijd. Grote selectie, goede prijzen - Conclusie: Je moet geen haast hebben.
Express bestelling:De levertijd was erg lang ondanks de express bestelling (toeslag).Besteld 18.052016 geleverd 27.05.2016.
Slow to ship, but good once shipped:If you don't mind waiting for them to ship it comes quick once they have. Will use them again with this in mind.
Waiting for order:Ordered part on 5/1/2016 and it is now 5/19/2016 and no word on when the part will be here.
Only one available:Since this is the only place I found my item after days of searching, I cannot be too hard on them. I ordered my item and 2 days later I received an email confirming receipt of the order. 2 days after that I was notified that the item shipped and I would be provided a tracking number. 8 days later I am still waiting on my tracking number! An email to find out what happened has gone unanswered for 5 days now. At this point I am unsure if I lost my money or if this is an isolated case.

I am very unhappy with delivery time.:I ordered a sheet of decals for an older 1:48 scale B-17 kit on 2/10/16. The kit was 90% complete but the kit decals were too old. On 2/18/16 I sent a message requesting status and saying that if the decal sheet was not in stock I would select a different one. On 2/19/16 I received an email saying it shipped and they would notify me of a tracking number. It is now 3/2/16 and I have not received a tracking number or the decals. This is not acceptable and I will know better in the future not to order from 1001 models.
Description of product on website is completely misleading:I ordered the 1:72 EDUARD 7503 Figure RFC crew 1917. In their product description: I copied and pasted this from their site:Type of product : Model figuresThe figurines are sold in boxes with several figures: - in the 1:72 scale, the boxes usually contain 40-50 figurine soldiers, or 15 cavalry figurines.In reality, there were only 6 figurines. At $13.99 plus shipping, this is way too expensive and not as described. It was a rip off!

Goederen top, communicatie slecht:Ik had een Fieseler Storch in 1:32 gekocht voor een topprijs, de goederen zijn ook 1A. Helaas kreeg ik echter pas na enige tijd mijn trackingnummer, ondanks het feit dat de goederen zogenaamd al een paar dagen geleden waren verzonden (volgens het systeem).Ik had verschillende vragen en kreeg slechts antwoord op één e-mail, die ook nog eens nogal automatisch leek te zijn aangemaakt.Er is nooit iemand bereikbaar op hun hotline (Berlijns netnummer 030) en ze hebben me nooit teruggebeld!

Verschrikkelijk: geen trackingcode ontvangen hoewel ik er extra voor heb betaald, veel te lange levertijd, geen reactie op berichten.
Poor communication:My order has been processing for nearly three weeks without any firm contact from 1001 Model Kits. The only e-mails I have received are three copies of OTHER buyer's requests for shipping updates and a copy of an inquiry I made before ordering - and that was never responded to - plus it now refers to a product I didn't ask about. All these e-mails seem to automated responses.All I ask for is an e-mail - preferably from a real person - letting me know that my order is in stock and it will be shipping soon .UPDATE: I finally received my order from 1001 Models - nearly two months after my order was placed and paid for. Communication was better over the last few weeks but still below expectations. I can accept delays but only if I'm informed of them. I was still getting comments in my account that had nothing to do with my order.
Slow Delivery:The sale of this model kit was the slowest in a sale of a $200.00 Model kit.Delivery was good the box came in good shape and took a parts count ]to make sure that all part trees were in the model kit it was complete full]count. All in All I have to say for being the slowest delivery of a sale in my case this model kit I wanted so even thou the long wait I have to say it was wait. this is the reason I only 3 stars for slow delivery response for sale DHL was good on Delivery date one day early
Two weeks! Still no delivery of order.:Ordered supplies from their site that were marked as in-stock.Order has been sitting in the ""Being Processed"" state now for over 2 weeks after I've been charged. No updates, no back ordered notifications, NOTHING.About ready to file a claim with PayPal on this one.Be wary of this company's order fulfillment time.
Delivery:Order placed 7th Sept, now 18th September still no sign of my order, I'm not a happy bunny
Goederen uitstekend, levertijd vertraagd:Ik heb hier wagons voor de modelspoorbaan gevonden die nergens anders meer verkrijgbaar zijn. Het is echter niet waar dat de goederen binnen twee dagen worden verzonden. Het was eerder twee weken. Dus als je op zoek bent naar een zeldzaam model, ben je hier aan het juiste adres. Je moet echter wel geduld hebben.
Good quality product - delayed delivery.:Slight damage to corner of book but not serious. Otherwise quality of book as supplied was acceptable. Delivery was quoted on website as 5-6 days but took nearer to two weeks and needed chasing up. Opted for tracker on delivery but information provided was very limited and no explanation or warning given for delay experienced in delivery.
Took a while for delivery, though happy with model:My order took 3 weeks to be delivered (I think it was driven to the wrong address, as was stated on the Hermes tracking page) though I was very happy with the model once I received it.
Levering met een test van geduld:Ik heb bij 1001Modellbau besteld omdat ik hun website erg goed vond. De goederen die ik bestelde waren ook direct leverbaar en zouden binnen 2 dagen binnen moeten zijn. Uiteindelijk duurde het meer dan 1-2 weken. Prijs/prestatie is oké. Ik weet niet of ik hier opnieuw zou kopen omdat de wachttijd erg lang was.
Model 1/72 Personnel:Choice was good ordering easy but the kits took a very long time to arrive.
A400m Grizzly:A large model that I haven't completed as yet.The main problem being the undercarriage as the wheels keep breaking off their stub axles even using the smallest amount of glue.So I've had to sell them out and fit new axles of from spare plastic..Apart from that its looking like a smashing model
Horible shipping:I ordered 3 bottles of polystyrene cement, it arrived on time but it was packaged poorly and one of the bottles developed a leak and covered all the bottles in the cement. Now i'm down one bottle, not happy.
Verbazingwekkend snel...:Voor het feit dat de artikelen van Parijs naar Saarbrücken werden geleverd, kwamen ze verrassend snel aan.De vele e-mails waarin elke kleine stap van de verwerking werd gedocumenteerd, waren soms vervelend.De verpakking voor de kleurblikken bestond alleen uit een grote bubbeltjesenvelop waarin de blikken veel ruimte hadden om uit te lopen. Gelukkig ging er maar één blikje open en de goede kwaliteit van de envelop voorkwam een grotere puinhoop, dus er is nog ruimte voor verbetering.
Address Error, Ordered 4 got 2, and learned to only buy 1 item at a time!:My first experience with the company was not the best. I ordered a figure i already had, but was broken as a test to see if I would even get it. They put my address on there wrong so I had a hard time getting it. For some reason the post office couldn't figure out that my apt# was just put first instead of where it should have gone. I managed to get it, but I had to do things I normally wouldn't have done if it were correct. I ordered 4 figures several months later. After 2 months of waiting I got several emails stating that several of them were unavailable. I got 3 vouchers so I expected to only receive 1 of them. To my surprise 2 of them showed up! I then ordered the missing ones separately and got the first almost immediately, and the second just shipped. I've gotten all that I plan to get from this company as I was only looking for those specific figures and this was the ONLY place to find them reasonably priced (they are discontinued now). It takes a long time for them to actually ship things and my suggestion to others purchasing from them is to purchase 1-2 items at a time only. Also, I was surprised that the vouchers did not cover shipping even though there was more than enough to cover it and my purchase. It should have covered the shipping too.
Sent wrong order. No response from customer service.:I was sent an incorrect order and that incorrect order was also damaged. I contacted customer service two days ago and received no response. I am very disappointed with the transaction. I guess my next step will be to contact my credit card company and dispute the transaction.
Goed transactieproces maar levertijd veel te lang:Ik ben helemaal tevreden met de goederen, het shopsysteem en het eigenlijke bestelproces. Ik kon de goederen hier in Duitsland in zo'n complete vorm in geen enkele andere shop vinden, daarom koos ik voor deze shop, die mij op dat moment onbekend was. je krijgt voortdurend statusupdates over je bestelling, wat in principe heel goed is, maar soms ook heel zinloos tot drie keer op een dag en dan zulke nietszeggende informatie als ""wordt binnenkort verzonden"". Je kunt jezelf de moeite besparen als je zinvolle en zinnige statussen gebruikt, want als klant ben ik niet geïnteresseerd in het feit dat ""will be dispatched soon"" (wanneer??) en dan gaan er dagen voorbij voordat er eindelijk iets gebeurt! Als klant vraag je je af of het pakket al ergens in de hoek ligt te wachten. Ontvangst van de bestelling - bestelling verwerkt - uitgaande post, dat zou voldoende zijn. 12 (!!) dagen levertijd voor goederen die op voorraad waren, was helaas veel te langzaam naar huidige maatstaven. Ik heb zelfs goederen uit de VS en Japan sneller ontvangen. Binnen Duitsland moeten goederen die op voorraad zijn de volgende werkdag of uiterlijk de dag daarna worden verzonden, d.w.z. dat ze na ongeveer 3 tot 5 dagen op het adres van de ontvanger moeten aankomen.
Product goed maar helaas defect geleverd:Het verjaardagscadeau werd op tijd geleverd, hartelijk dank. Helaas defect! De boerderijen kunnen niet worden bevestigd. (((Elke vorm van contact via telefoon of e-mail is gewoon mislukt en dat maakt me ongelukkig. Daarom, als u kunt initiëren, neem dan zo snel mogelijk contact met mij op.
Not overwhelmed by the experience!:I ordered a 1/72 Italeri fast build M7 Priest/Kangaroo kit. I only considered the order because of not being able to find this kit elsewhere. I feel that the price even though it was 'on sale', was still a very premium price compared to similar kits. I accept the fact that a higher price may reflect its rairity. I expected to receive the kit in about a week to 2 weeks, it ended up being close to 4 weeks. Customer service was available, if not at time a bit spotty. I must say they did try to keep me in the loop. I did get a shipping tracking number which was very nice. Once I received the kit, the box was a bit banged up, had a few pieces loose in the box off the sprue, and had no assembly instructions nor the decals that the box front said should be included. At present, I don't know if I would order from 1001 ModelKits again.
Goederen 1A, levering catastrofaal:De goederen waren compleet en in uitstekende staat, de levering door de pakketdienst was helaas catastrofaal. We ontvingen ons pakket pas na herhaalde verzoeken en veel telefoontjes... 🙁
Good models, lackluster service, long wait times.:This was a less than pleasurable experience due to the lengthy delivery time – 27 days. My order was processed immediately and charged almost immediately on my credit card, this after the shipping rates were raised for some reason to a different price, which was higher than the quoted price when I pressed the button to complete my order. I was upset at that incident for days after the order.A week later, after filing an inquiry twice online, received a message that I would receive a voucher for the difference in price…I’ll never use it, but why not just make the adjustment on this order Poor customer service in my opinion.I received no info or updates until the item was shipped in this country, three weeks later, from the post office tracking. Parcel arrived with some damage to the side of the box, with damage to one of the model boxes inside…but thankfully the model was not harmed. I find it amazing that there was no packaging or filler inside to protect the items inside the box, as with other model companies with every shipment. I order something from the next state over and the box has newspaper, Styrofoam peanuts, plastic bubble rap…something! But something comes from France and no filler whatsoever…hmmm. I’m not impressed with the service, but the price was better than some places here, however, I will never use your services again.
Model paints:Of the 6 paints that I ordered one was wrong. Delivery took long time but it may have been fault of USPS. Send email with complaint (there is no phone number available). Took 3 days to respond but got credit without any questions. Had to pay some extra for shipping but only pennies. Delivery of replacement was fast and color was the correct one.
Bestelling 8 dagen na verzending nog steeds niet binnen!:Op 25.12.14 onderdelen voor mijn A6 Intruder besteld! Vandaag (11.1.15) nog steeds niets aangekomen. Het opgegeven verzendnummer is niet bekend bij DHL! Zwak!!!
