Imex Confederate Infantry - the lost battalion?:Ordering, delivery and price were first rate - I will use again.I cannot say the same for the product. This set has been out of production for many years so I was lucky to find them but they are not as good as other figures in this series. I have compared them to the original poses on Plastic Soldier Review and these are just cheap copies in brittle plastic. I would love to know why Imex produced such an inferior set. Does anyone know the story behind this?

Good company, but suffers from slow shipping and customer service response.:Good company, that shipped my item well protected. However, one item was out of stock, and it took them around two weeks to let me know. In that same time, I placed orders with their competitors, got notification of shipping and received my order. When I inquired about the delay, it took a couple of days to get a response. They need to tighten up these areas to really be first class. That said, depending on the item and my need, I would consider ordering from them again.

Provided needed item in reasonable time.:I was trying to locate a specific ship model and was having no luck. I tried 1001modelkits and the item was there. I ordered it and was advised via e-mail that the model would have to be shipped from overseas to the warehouse in Arkansas and then to me. The item I wanted arrived eventually and in excellent condition. I was very pleased with my dealings with 1001modelkits.

Long delivery time:From order / payment to delivery takes far too long and no clear tracking information other than ""parcel shipped""

Good, but delivery time takes really long:very competitive prices and very good customer service. The only thing that nags me about them is there very long shipping time and costs.

Waste of time and money:Hey,I would like to share with you my worst buying experience I've had so far , here are the details of the case :I saw many publications in magazines of models building from about 1001modelkits.com , after I checked and compared prices and seeing positive reviews online I decided to try and do a purchase from them. the site seem very impressive and serious , with huge stock and tempting prices - including low postage. I made the purchase at 7.3.14 and according to the site terms it has been said that the shipment will be sent in no more than 48 hours. After several days that i did not received from them any email to document the purchase (which I usually get right away from my experience from buying in many websites) I contacted their customer service department and after a few days I received the following laconic message :"" Dear customer ,Rest assured that we do our best to deliver our customers quickly.You will receive a tracking number as soon as the package is sent.Best regards,Customer service 1001modelkits""Since the message said nothing about delivery time, estimated shipment or reason for the delay (all products were marked as available and in stock ) I tried to contact again to their customer service department with email's and direct messages to their online services but until now I did not get any response or any replay .this looks like just a scam to rub you out of your money!

Uiteindelijk na 7 emails antwoorden ze dat het een fout is van de leverancier en dat ze nog steeds wachten op het product.dat is vreemd want op de voorraad van 1001modellbau staat dat het item meer dan 15 en 25 ouf stock is en beschikbaar.... Dit gaat dus nog vele maanden duren, ik hoop dat ze mijn geld terugstorten. Wat zou 1001modellbau denken als ze maanden op hun geld moeten wachten? Dat kan niet goed zijn!

Takes too long on delivery:Supposed to be delivered from the States and found out that was shipped in France. Took 15 days, cost 1.5 € but i was charged $4.Besides that, I'm happy with the product.

Parcel arrived in perfect condition:my order arrived in perfect condition , I had ordered Decals and they were sent in a bubble wrap pachage. well done, no dints at all.

Failed to deliver, refund eventually received.:I ordered a decal set 31st January. 11 days later received an email to say item not yet dispatched but that it would be posted within the next few days. This was not acceptable to me so I email back requesting the order be cancelled and my money refunded. 4 Days later I receive an email to say my item had now been mailed. I again replied to say my order had been cancelled. On 23rd Feb I had neither received my refund or the product that had allegedly posted to me so I opened a dispute via Paypal. A refund was then received the following day. Very poor communication throughout - not a happy buying experience.

Problem with packaging:You must to pay attencion to prepare shipment.My decals wasn't respectively protected. Shipment arrived to me damged.If you send delicate merchandise, please take it in safe packaging (for example cardboard)

Good model kits at good prices!:My purchased model kits arrived in excellent condition. The prices were, I felt, competitive. I wouldn't call the delivery speedy. But that's because of the distance they have to travel (from Europe). Then, too, the weather at this season slows delivery somewhat. If you are willing to wait a little you'll get the kits you want in fine condition and you'll get them at competitive prices. That's a bargain!

Levering van een volledig defect product - bestelnr. 32735:Inhoud van een e-mail die ik op 29 januari 2014 naar kontakt@1001modellbau heb gestuurd, maar die nog niet is beantwoord:Geachte heer of mevrouw,Ongeveer een uur geleden werd de Italeri C47 Skytrain 1:72 modelbouwdoos die ik bij u had besteld door DHL geleverd, helaas in een erbarmelijke staat. Er moet een vrachtwagen overheen zijn gereden (zie bijgevoegde foto's!) Je kunt geen model meer bouwen van deze kit! aangezien ik vooraf heb betaald via paypal inclusief de transportkosten, verwacht ik een levering in goede staat. wat nu? ik verwacht direct een antwoordmail van u. met (nog) vriendelijke groetWalter Schmölling Ik hoop hier nu een reactie te ontvangen!

Alles is in orde: vliegtuigmodel, verpakking en pakje ruiken erg sterk naar nicotine, wat erg smerig is.Verder is alles geweldig.

Alles ging goed:er waren vertragingen in de levering maar deze werden ongevraagd gecommuniceerd zodat je als klant het gevoel hebt dat je correct wordt behandeld- nogmaals bedankt!

Op tijd geleverd, maar niet zo goed verpakt: Over het algemeen ging alles goed. Een delicaat geëtst onderdeel was een beetje verbogen. Het had iets zorgvuldiger en steviger verpakt kunnen worden. Maar het is geen probleem. Ik zou graag weer bij jullie bestellen.

NOTHING BUT LIARS AND THIEVES:Placed my order for two items that were stated as in stock with a delivery in 10 days from their US store. After I finished with the PayPal payment I was sent a conformation email that stated the items were overseas and to expect 15 business days for delivery. The items would be sent to their US location and then mailed out from there. They stated that the process to arrive at their facility would take 7-9 days. Already being frustrated with being lied to I emailed the company on day 10 to find out the status of the order. Their response was ""It appears that two of the products you have ordered is unavailable and unfortunately we do not know when it will be again. Following your request, we will refund USD 48,49 on your credit card or Paypal account.""At no point did I ask for a refund nor was there ever a refund! I ended up having to open a Paypal dispute that was escalated to a claim which I was awarded the money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ONLINE RETAILER-THEY ARE NOTHING BUT LIARS AND THIEVES!

Hier klopt echt alles!:Elk modelbouwershart zal glimlachen. Of het nu gaat om vliegtuigen, schepen of tanks - hier is voor elke modelbouwer iets te vinden en dat tegen betaalbare prijzen.

Sloooooow!:I've ordered from 1001 Model Kits in the past and everything about the experience was outstanding. This time however, has been so so. I placed my order at the same time as I placed an order from another online hobby shop. I received an auto-email telling me that my order had been processed and I would receive my order in 6 - 8 days. 10 days later I received another auto-email stating that my order had shipped and I would receive it soon. That was 11 days ago.It has been 3 weeks since ordering and still no sign of my product. I received my order from the other hobby shop 2 weeks ago.
