The way online stores SHOULD be run!:My experience with 1001modelkits was commendable. They kept me updated, the prices were not unreasonable, and my order arrived in a timely fashion undamaged. I would not hesitate to recommend 1001modelkits to anyone!

Zeer teleurstellend:Alles ging mis.De levering kwam een week later dan was aangekondigd.Ik bestelde 3 houten strips van 1m lang.Deze werden verzonden in een pakket van 1m x 40cm x 1cm. Dit was 2 keer verbogen. Er stond niets op het pakket. Geen ""please do not bend"" of ""fragile.the end of the song was dat ik veel kleine houten stokjes had. Ik schreef een direct mail met foto's. Toen vroeg ik in ""Lifechat"" wat er nu zou gebeuren. ""We nemen contact met u op als de mail verwerkt is.""Sorry, maar wie stuurt er nou dunne houten stokjes in zo'n waardeloos pakketje? Tot nu toe is er nog geen reactie van 1001 gekomen.

Pretty good.:There was a small issue in figuring out if the item on their site was the one I was looking for. The picture shows the item out of the box and no box shown in the photo. I emailed them and they said they would attempt to find out more about the item from their supplier. After 2 weeks I heard nothing back. I decided to go ahead and order it since it was only 10 bucks(very good price) and it turned out that it was what I was looking for. The tracking didnt update during shipping but thats not really the company's fault.

Hoewel het artikel niet op voorraad was, werd ik voortdurend op de hoogte gehouden en kreeg ik een geschatte levertijd. De levering kwam op tijd en het hele proces was erg overtuigend.

Untrustworthy seller:Seller's website said model was available and would ship in 10 days. 21 days later, no update, no tracking number, no status. Emails were responded to with generic ""we will let you know when we receive a status"". After 45 days I got a refund. They processed my refund timely, so I suppose that's a positive? Now I missed my uncle's birthday, and will have to order from scratch from somewhere else. Don't order from here if you have a deadline to mee!

Recommended!:The price on the kit is about 25% lower than the best offer I could find elsewhere and I therefore consider their offer excellent! The kit took a tad longer to arrive because of some necessary rerouting, but the wait was reasonable as I received notification from them with regard to the delivery details. Overall it has been a very satisfactory experience and I would recommend the seller to my friend!

Levertijd:Veel te lange levertijd zelfs als vaste klant levering alleen tegen vooruitbetaling .

Wat kan ik zeggen? Zelfs na 10 dagen is het model dat ik had besteld en betaald nog steeds niet aangekomen. De levertijd was opgegeven als 6 tot max. 9 dagen.

Aankoop van verschillende modelartikelen bij 1001:Zeer goede klantbehandeling, ik werd onmiddellijk per e-mail op de hoogte gebracht wanneer een artikel niet op voorraad was en kreeg nog een bericht wanneer het pakket werd verzonden. Beter dan dat wordt het niet.

Met all expectations - would have preferred quicker delivery:The vendor did everything right. Timely notifications. Easy to check progress. Product was delivered without damage -- good packaging.I would have preferred quicker delivery. I understand that this product was coming from the Czech Republic and had to go through several locatoins to get to me. The vender told me to expect the product in two weeks from shipment. That was accurate but it took a week to process the order.

Alles in orde:De levering was snel en betrouwbaar. Ik werd per e-mail goed op de hoogte gehouden van de status van de bestelling.

Kleuren voor Rodan (Humbrol): het is jammer dat de gespecificeerde kleuren niet in het assortiment zitten en er geen indicatie is van alternatieve opties, bijv. H97, H180, H202.

WORST INTERNET PURCHASE EVER:This company is apparently strictly a 'middleman' that does not warehouse its products except in very few rare cases if you read any other reviews or take my impression. At no time did they have a clue as to my order status, location of said order, or real time stock quantities. Customer service is automated, with canned responses, and few and random. I should have been clued by their policy of charging for the item when ordered, not when shipped, so you have no option to cancel or refund an order after no contact or response after an extended wait period. If you use them expect double the wait for shipping and handling (items ship to them and then to you) and notice fluctuating site pricing. It took my order three weeks to arrive, and they said it was crossing the Atlantic the day before it was dropped on my porch on the US west coast. Most of their stock is sold to the public directly through the manufacturers. Good luck.

Great Stuff but SLOW Shipping:Ordered decal sheets which I could not find anywhere else and which were indicated as in-stock. Confirmation e-mail stated 6-8 days delivery time. 14 days after placing order I received an e-mail ""updating"" me and stating items were shipped from Europe and would need to stop at US facility before finally being sent to me. Items arrived well protected in rigid cardboard flat mailer and in great condition after about 4 weeks. Keep in mind that at the same time I placed this order I placed some other orders with vendors in Australia and Singapore. I received those orders in about 1 week via direct international mail as flat packages (just like these decals). Denver (where I live) to Paris distance is 4900 miles. Denver to Sydney is 8300 miles and Denver to Singapore is 9000 miles - get the picture? I don't know why it should take so long to get a flat mailer from 1001, but they really need to work on improving their shipping times. That being said, if I needed something that they had I would be confident ordering from them in the future, but would be aware of the long wait time.

I can think of nothing that is wrong with 1001 Modelkits:I found some items that were not available from other dealers, so I ordered what I needed from 1001, and even though what I ordered was stocked at their overseas supplier, I received my order within 15 days of order being placed.

Ik ben zeer tevreden over de afhandeling van mijn bestelling, op een klein gebrek na: ik had alleen geluk toen het pakket werd afgeleverd. Mijn volledige adres stond niet op het pakket. De postbode heeft me gevonden in zijn database en heeft me toen persoonlijk bereikt, anders was het pakket teruggestuurd. Dus alleen met veel geluk.

Veeeeery slowwwww......:Very impressive site with lots of goodies for the modeling enthusiast but…I registered and placed my first order for 4 decal sheets on April 1st.The prices all over the site were within the market range. But the postage charged (8.90€) was excessive even for registered mail for a 20 gr. envelope.All the items were marked as available and 3 of them had 5-6 day shipping time indicated. I paid thru Paypal on the same day.The next day I received an e-mail message that the order has been processed and that I will receive my order in 6-8 days.After ten (10) days (on April 11th) I received another e-mail saying that my order has been shipped!!!Because the shipment had not arrived on April 29th, I sent an e-mail asking for details and where do they ship from. I got an answer the next day saying that they ship from France and that surface mail (!!!) might take longer to arrive.On May 12th I wrote again to their customer service complaining about the long delay in their delivery and asking for an answer. I also opened a dispute in Paypal’s resolution centre. I got a message the next day saying that the envelope must be lost and that one of the decal sheets was no longer available.I was given the option to buy something else from the site and so I did. The new order was processed the next day (May 14th), I received an e-mail on May 19th that it will be shipped soon (!!!) and finally an e-mail on May 21st that it was shipped (more than a week after the new order was placed).The envelope arrived on May 27th which is within the normal range for an intra EU 1st class mail. Mind you the postage affixed was 1,35 € !!!!I have to point out that I trade over the net constantly and never had a problem with lost mail in over 600 transactions during the last 8 years or so.There is something definitely wrong with their very slow shipping and equally slow customer response service. Possibly the items sent from the EU are not in stock there and have to be shipped from elsewhere thus the one week between ordering and shipping. I cannot detect any malicious intent but I am skeptic about any future purchases from them……

GLUE ALL OVER MOTHER""S TABLE, Won't be able to set down for week!:I won't buy anymore that you must use glue on. Mom threw them away after I glued apiece of a plane to the table. I have to pay to get the table refinished.

Outanding Detail:The model will make a perfect gift for a close friends son to build and will be a nice bedroom dresser display item once finished.

Rubbish. Utter, unutterable rubbish.:Their internet stock levels are a fiction. Their emails re unavailability do not agree with the items they actually send nor with later emails they send. When they do send something, they send the wrong items. Perhaps next time they should make sure the guide dog is awake when picking stock how an American landing craft can look like a Tiger II I don't know clever German camouflage I suspect. Avoid this firm like the plague. My advice is to buy from (external reference) in the UK. I will from now on.

Excellent Products:The models from 1001modelkits are excellent. The delivery was fine but you do have take in consideration that some items ship from overseas. So the waiting period may be a few weeks. However, every model builder knows that it does take time to get items. My items actually came in a few days earlier than expected. That made me happy, happy, happy. They do have models that are hard to find. All this together makes it a great experience and I will be ordering from them again in the near future.

Super kit: De kit was gemakkelijk in elkaar te zetten. De afgewerkte tank ziet er mega goed uit. Een echte aanrader.
