Do not waste your time or money:Fast to take your money, but slow to get you your order, I think they ship by sail boat, I placed my order on 1/10 and it is now 2/11 and I have still not gotten my order. This is the most I ever paid for shipping, and the longest I have ever waited. It seems that this problem is a common concern with US customers, Their response to e-mails seem to be the same for every customer, it was interesting that an early reply was ""crossing the Atlantic"" followed two weeks later by ""sent back by French customs"" I would not suggest this company to anyone.
Bestelling 8 dagen na verzending nog steeds niet binnen!:Op 25.12.14 onderdelen voor mijn A6 Intruder besteld! Vandaag (11.1.15) nog steeds niets aangekomen. Het opgegeven verzendnummer is niet bekend bij DHL! Zwak!!!
Slowest shipping ever/ No shipping:I placed my order on 12/19/14. It is now 1/10/15 and nothing. I sent a email checking on the status and I got the it's crossing the Atlantic response. Must be on a rowboat. They have a excellent selection but getting them seems to be an issue. I ordered items from another company in Poland on 12/26/14 and those items arrived on 1/5/15. I do not like leaving negative reviews.Update: It is now 1/15/15 order still being 'processed'. Thanks for offering free shipping on my next order. But seeing that I am out $183.97 so far on this one I do not think there will be a next order. Sorry.1/22/15 order still being 'processed'. 34 days now and counting.1/26/15 Paypal refunded my payment. These guys did not even respond to Paypal's investigation.Ordered same items elsewhere on 1/26/15 and they arrived today 1/30/15. Amazing 38 days with 1001 Modelkits and they where still processing. Not a very good way to run a business...just saying. But what does one person matter to these guys.

Not impressed! Wrong size, wrong materials and unwrapped and they took almost 2 weeks to arrive.:Category : Diecast models Fiat 500 Blue 500C Pink x 2 1:43I ordered the advertised diecast models which were supposed to be a Fiat 500 in Blue and a 500C in Pink in 1:43 scale.What I received was 2 number Fiat 500's in Blue and 2 number 500C's in Pink in 1:87 scale in plastic. I also paid an extra £1.70 for gift wrapping, which was a paper bag!The quality of the products are excellent but they are not what I wanted or ordered! Wrong size, wrong materials and unwrapped, also they took almost 2 weeks to arrive.Additionally, when I checked my order on the website after they arrived, it had changed to what they delivered but the scale is still listed as 1:43. In summary they state that this product is no longer available - Which product is no longer available, the 1:43 Scale Die Cast Models or 1:87 Plastic Models?Luckily, my daughter, for which they were a Christmas present is happy with them.
Absolutely awful:It is now 1st Jan 15 and still waiting for delivery of my sons Christmas present which was ordered on 14th December. No one to speak to. Most of the telephone numbers don't even seem to exist!!!!!!!!!!!!! If there is a person at 1001 Modelkits maybe they could contact me re order no 49881 (UK) and then I could post a slightly different review.

Disappointed:I was very sorry that the models did not arrive on time for grandkids to open at Christmas. They still have not arrived.
So far so good.....ll:Couriered to UK from France by DHL during Christmas week, arrived before most of our UK parcels which were ordered much earlier! This would be 5 stars, except for the fact that this expensive, sophisticated wooden sailing ship model kit was open and had been repackaged somewhere along the line. There is no way to tell if anything is missing due to the complexity of the model (Amati HMS Surprise from the Aubrey/Maturin novels).

Unsatisfactory response to damaged goods report.:I ordered a Great Planes Giant Big Stik model aircraft which arrived with some damage to the rear of the fuselage. I reported the damage with photographs of both model and packaging and asked 1001model kits for their comments.Having paid over £300 for the model which was to be a special Christmas present (which I had noted on my order) I imagined they would at least have offered to reduce the price as I had received damaged goods.Their reply follows:Dear Sir,I am deeply sorry for the damage.Unfortunately we are located in France and have no solution for repairs in the UK. I suggest that you repair it yourself, this should not be too complicated.Best regards,--Customer serviceUK buyers beware.
Great Experience:I ordered a model the week before Christmas, not sure it would arrive on time. It came sooner than expected and in good shape.
Poor service:I ordered some photo-etch details on December 3, and it has not arrived yet as of Dec.23. Not only were the shipping charges higher than they should have been for such an item (and higher than their website advertised) but to take at least three weeks to arrive is unacceptable. I could have purchased from a company in Australia that I've bought from before and had it here in a week. Really disappointed.12/30 - still have not arrived. Cancelling order.
Terrible experience with no response:It's now 1/16 -It has now been a month since I placed my order and I have nothing to show for it except a $106 charge to my credit card. Based upon the last response I received from your company, I expected at least a partial shipment. Again, I have not received anything. I have not received my order, tracking number or any follow-up response. This has been the worst on-line experince.I placed my order on 12/12 for Christmas. The website indicated it was ""in stock"" and would be here in time. Credit card was charged $106 immediately. That is the only thing they have gotten correct. Now MORE THAN A MONTH LATER and I do not have my order and have not heard from a representative of 1001modelkits...but they still have my money. Respectfully I have asked for them to cancel my order and post a credit but still no response.Placed an order on 12/12 for Christmas. It is now 1/5 and I still have not received my order. In addition I asked for an update and did not receive a response. Customer service is non-existent.Placed an order on 12/12. According to the website the order is still being processed but my credit card was charged immediately. I have now emailed on two occasions with no response. Prior to oreddering, the website said it would be available for Christmas...not likley.
Pleasant, reliable experience.:I was very pleased with the delivery time and was also pleased to receive exactly what was ordered. A very professional company with good communication from order to delivery.

Excellent Products:The models from 1001modelkits are excellent. The delivery was fine but you do have take in consideration that some items ship from overseas. However, every model builder knows that it does take time to get items. My items actually came in a few days earlier than expected. That made me happy, happy, happy. They do have models that are hard to find. All this together makes it a great experience and I will be ordering from them again in the near future.

Extremely slow shipping:I have ordered quite a bit from 1001 in the past, but lately am very disappointed with them. They claim free shipping on orders over $200, but they charge anyway. That's dishonest. When called on it, they issue a voucher. Not exactly the kind of thing which evokes confidence. It usually takes about a month before they finally ship, even though everything is in stock at time of ordering. This current order was paid for on the 19th of last month, and still shows a 'being processed' status. They don't respond to my emails, and I even called them at (617) 849-9224, only to get a recording stating that they will respond to all emails promptly... another lie. Basically, sad to say this, but I don't have much confidence in them anymore. Terrible customer service, terrible wait times for shipping, and their prices aren't even that competitive.

Ik wilde eigenlijk maar één ster geven, maar onbeschoft (als je een antwoord op mijn mails zo niet wilt noemen) dan wel, maar de service is echt niet meer dan twee sterren waard. Beide keren heb ik vooruit betaald via PayPal voor figuren die volgens de lijst 'op voorraad' waren (waarom dan 2-3 weken levertijd) en kreeg ik bij de eerste bestelling geen creditnota voor het niet geleverde pakket. Idem voor de tweede bestelling, maar dit keer wel een creditnota op de rekening. Toch zie ik het nut er niet van in om deze slechte logistiek vooraf te blijven financieren. Dit is gewoon te weinig voor de huidige maatstaven en ik ga zeker op zoek naar andere opties, hoewel het assortiment enorm is (blijkbaar te uitgebreid), vandaar de slechte logistiek
Topwinkel:Goede goederen correct en foutloos geleverd. Graag tot een volgende keer.
Een bedrijf zonder normen: ik wacht nu al 2 maanden op mijn levering, die me 1,5 maand geleden had moeten toekomen? Het ergste is dat niemand bij het bedrijf het de moeite waard vindt om ook maar iets te zeggen als reactie op mijn verzoeken. Ik heb geen andere keuze dan via een advocaat een verklaring en mijn geld te krijgen. Gefeliciteerd aan iedereen die een probleemloze levering had. Jullie hebben geluk!

Complete source with long ship times.:I live in an area that has no hobby outlets. The nearest is over 75 miles. I use on-line systems a lot. My problem is that the shipping cost from these outlets makes small items cost prohibitive. I purchased Humbrol paints from this site and found that items in my order had to be shipped from England to an Arkansas Distribution point to me.
A good place to shop on line:This site is very easy to find things and gas a very good selections.

Stick with 1001 Modelkits:In searching for Testor's Contacta cement, 1001 Modelkits had what I needed at the right price and shipping costs. All other sites, the cost was much higher and shipping was astronomical.
Handen af van de winkel:Hallo, ik wacht al meer dan 4 maanden op mijn geld van een vliegtuig dat beschadigd bij mij werd afgeleverd. Natuurlijk heb ik het binnen 2 dagen teruggestuurd. Eerst zeiden ze dat het pakket zoek was, toen na twee maanden, ja, we zullen het geld terugstorten. Ik heb een advocaat moeten inschakelen omdat ik steeds werd afgescheept. Vergeet niet dat de Franse wet niet hetzelfde is als de Duitse. MfG Blijf met uw handen van deze winkel af.
