Horible shipping:I ordered 3 bottles of polystyrene cement, it arrived on time but it was packaged poorly and one of the bottles developed a leak and covered all the bottles in the cement. Now i'm down one bottle, not happy.

Pathetic:You asked me to review my current purchase from your organisation. My order number 61394 was ordered on 22nd June 2015 and I received an email on 26th June 2015 to say it has been shipped. Well, it is now 4th July and it has still not arrived. I would have to say your service is diabolically bad and I will not be ordering from you again when my order does finally arrive.

Issues with my order, but 1001 modelkits came through.:In spite of sending the wrong order and some delays rectifying the problem, 1001 modelkits eventually solved the problem at no cost to me. Buy with confidence.

Verbazingwekkend snel...:Voor het feit dat de artikelen van Parijs naar Saarbrücken werden geleverd, kwamen ze verrassend snel aan.De vele e-mails waarin elke kleine stap van de verwerking werd gedocumenteerd, waren soms vervelend.De verpakking voor de kleurblikken bestond alleen uit een grote bubbeltjesenvelop waarin de blikken veel ruimte hadden om uit te lopen. Gelukkig ging er maar één blikje open en de goede kwaliteit van de envelop voorkwam een grotere puinhoop, dus er is nog ruimte voor verbetering.

False advertising, slow shipping, lack of communication on order status.:I placed my order on May 23, 2015. It took them almost two weeks to let me know that one of my model kits was not in stock when on their website it showed available. It has been two weeks since then and I still have no order or any information on what the status of my order is. They have ignored numerous messages and phone calls concerning the status of my order. Bad customer service in my opinion, especially since I made a big order. This day and age taking a month to ""process"" an order is unacceptable. Taking a customer's money instantly and making them wait a month or more for their order to arrive is ""bad business"". Also the customer service telephone voice menu is in French not English and French. Not helpful to United States customers. They have a great website and seem to have a great selection of model kits. Lots of potential killed by bad customer service. Hopefully they will wake up and smell the coffee.(at least long enough to answer their phone)Another week has gone by and finally they have made contact with me.(Only because I posted a bad review in my opinion.) They claimed my order had issues in customs and that these issues had been resolved and my order would be shipped in another week. A week went by and I had heard nothing so I sent customer service an email about the status of my order. They claimed one of the items had been lost in shipment and of course it was no longer available. They did offer me another voucher for the price of the product. However a voucher is worthless if the company does not have the ability to process and ship a simple order. I have zero confidence right now that this company is competent enough to even handle another order. I want a full refund or I will take legal action against this ""scam"" of a company. Avoid this company.It is now almost July and I still have heard nothing about my order and have yet to receive any goods that I have ordered. Just a small piece of advice 1001 model kits: On a multiple item order if there is an item on someone's order that you do not have in stock (that you said you did have) send the items that you do have and don't hold THE ENTIRE order for weeks at a time. It would be faster for me to sail across the Atlantic and pick up the items from their warehouse in France! Pick up your phone! Communicate with your customers! Do not take their money unless you have rendered them a service.

Poor: only received half of my order!:I emailed you guys on Sat so I thought I would hear back from you today but not yet. They shipped me a 1/72 scale Fairey Swordfish instead of a 1/48 scale B-17G Flying Fortress. I assume that you guys will make the order correct but I need to know what to do with the extra model.Thanks

Address Error, Ordered 4 got 2, and learned to only buy 1 item at a time!:My first experience with the company was not the best. I ordered a figure i already had, but was broken as a test to see if I would even get it. They put my address on there wrong so I had a hard time getting it. For some reason the post office couldn't figure out that my apt# was just put first instead of where it should have gone. I managed to get it, but I had to do things I normally wouldn't have done if it were correct. I ordered 4 figures several months later. After 2 months of waiting I got several emails stating that several of them were unavailable. I got 3 vouchers so I expected to only receive 1 of them. To my surprise 2 of them showed up! I then ordered the missing ones separately and got the first almost immediately, and the second just shipped. I've gotten all that I plan to get from this company as I was only looking for those specific figures and this was the ONLY place to find them reasonably priced (they are discontinued now). It takes a long time for them to actually ship things and my suggestion to others purchasing from them is to purchase 1-2 items at a time only. Also, I was surprised that the vouchers did not cover shipping even though there was more than enough to cover it and my purchase. It should have covered the shipping too.

Takes FOREVER !:Twenty-eight days after ordering, and paying, and no product. No explanation, no nothing. Very unhappy.

Total con:This company gives the industry a bad name do not respond to requests for refund do not have the product advertised no phone number or address listed on their site ,should have picked that up no reason other than they know they can't be contacted after they get your money. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Sent wrong order. No response from customer service.:I was sent an incorrect order and that incorrect order was also damaged. I contacted customer service two days ago and received no response. I am very disappointed with the transaction. I guess my next step will be to contact my credit card company and dispute the transaction.

Caracal EC-121 Decals:Internet search for EC-121 decals brought up 1001 Models, always a wee bit wary of ordering from a company I have never heard of. The prices were in USD and it was a .com therefore I assumed I was dealing with an American company and they are normally great. Not until I had paid and checked out did I realise this company was in France, not to worry every bit at good as an American Company and even quicker, well it's just across the channel innit !

Alles in orde:Alles in orde, lange verzendtijd maar gezien het feit dat de goederen uit Frankrijk kwamen al OK.

Not the fastest:It isnt very clear that they are a French based company, not that that should matter but it can have an effect on delivery times.The kit is fine but in these days of next day and 2 day delivery it was rather slow. It took a week to for them to say it was shipped. Even with the holiday it was 4 days to ship it.It was listed as 'in stock' too.

I ordered a thing, they sent me the thing...:Sure, merchandise could always be a little cheaper, shipping could always be a day faster, but I have no complaints. My merchandise arrived as advertised, in a reasonable amount of time, and I was able to track it when it shipped.

Great store, good range:Great store, good range. Good for some hard to find stuff.A little pricey sometimes.

Books rcvd of high quality.:Both books feature two rather obscure British warplanes. Both were richly illustrated and were concise and to the point. The Bristol Brigand Book of the warpaint series was especially good. Covering 3 variants of this late war airplane, it did not disappoint. The only burr under the saddle was the length of time it took to receive seemed awfully long almost 3 weeks or so. I know the warehouse of origin is in France and the may have saved a considerable amount of time .by direct shipping to the end user. Im thinking that they probably consolidated other orders in with mine sending it to AR and distributing it there. Well the most important thing was getting 2 books I desired for a long time and waiting x time is a trifle. Next time I'll know what to expect. Thank YouMartin Gherardi

Goed transactieproces maar levertijd veel te lang:Ik ben helemaal tevreden met de goederen, het shopsysteem en het eigenlijke bestelproces. Ik kon de goederen hier in Duitsland in zo'n complete vorm in geen enkele andere shop vinden, daarom koos ik voor deze shop, die mij op dat moment onbekend was. je krijgt voortdurend statusupdates over je bestelling, wat in principe heel goed is, maar soms ook heel zinloos tot drie keer op een dag en dan zulke nietszeggende informatie als ""wordt binnenkort verzonden"". Je kunt jezelf de moeite besparen als je zinvolle en zinnige statussen gebruikt, want als klant ben ik niet geïnteresseerd in het feit dat ""will be dispatched soon"" (wanneer??) en dan gaan er dagen voorbij voordat er eindelijk iets gebeurt! Als klant vraag je je af of het pakket al ergens in de hoek ligt te wachten. Ontvangst van de bestelling - bestelling verwerkt - uitgaande post, dat zou voldoende zijn. 12 (!!) dagen levertijd voor goederen die op voorraad waren, was helaas veel te langzaam naar huidige maatstaven. Ik heb zelfs goederen uit de VS en Japan sneller ontvangen. Binnen Duitsland moeten goederen die op voorraad zijn de volgende werkdag of uiterlijk de dag daarna worden verzonden, d.w.z. dat ze na ongeveer 3 tot 5 dagen op het adres van de ontvanger moeten aankomen.

Ik ben zeer tevreden: snelle levering, alles werkte geweldig.

My first experience with 1001 Modelkits.:My first purchase with 1001 Modelkits was, as with all online buying experiences, a leap of faith. I was purchasing a photo-etch add-on for a model kit I was planning on building soon. 1001 Modelkits website was easy to navigate, and I quickly found what I needed. I paid for my purchase via Paypal and hoped for the best. Every step of the process was confirmed by email, from my ordering on 3/13/2015, my purchase shipping, it's delivery to 1001 Modelkit's U.S. distribution center, to it arriving at my doorstep on 3/28/2015. My purchase was professionally packaged and was in great shape when I opened it. My first experience with 1001 Modelkits was an excellent one, they are fast and professional. I will definitely be purchasing items from them in the future, Thanks 1001 Modelkits!

Disappointment:I was very disappointed with my experience. First, I waited several weeks before I was told they could not fulfill my order, but I was not told what was not being filled. Then I only ended up receiving four of twelve items I ordered. Store credit given but a lot of time wasted waiting to do a project that I was trying to do. I will look elsewhere next time.

1001 Modelkits:I bought the translucent gren enamel to paint clear plastic canopies for warhammer 40k models. It arrived when they said it would and worked great.

First order no problems:Placed my first order with them from the UK with slight trepidation as usual when purchasing from another country. But the order showed up quicker than expected and all in present and correct, so I'm sure I'll use 1001 Modelkits again.

Great Selection, slow shipping:I was looking for a very specific kit, a Heinkel He-111 H-3 for a Battle of Britain diorama. They not only had a great kit from Revell that had 4 models for the price of one, but also undercut the competition by $60! I had to wait two weeks for it, but I plan on purchasing the kit a few times over from them!
