Excellent Company:I received my purchase in very quick time, especially considering the fact, that it was sent from the United States to the United Kingdom. I am also very pleased with my purchase, not least because it was bought at a bargain price and it was received in excellent condition.Will definitely use this company again
Poor:I had to chase to find where my purchase was. If you do use them, only use paypal or some other system which allows you to chase them effectively or get your money back. They use Hermes as one of their carriers, difficult to judge where your parcel is as they don't update their system correctly.
Paint ordered 3 weeks ago, still has not arrived.:The title says it all.
Geen goederen ontvangen !:Ik heb een levering ontvangen en in de verpakking die ook niet beschadigd was zat alleen lucht. Er is ook geen contactpersoon bij het bedrijf, je moet het bedrijf altijd aanspreken als 1001 modellbau. Je moet vooraf betalen en dan krijg je alleen air, de EU is ver gekomen in Europa, zoiets was er 30 jaar geleden nog niet. Ik kan zonder zo'n Europa. Ik betaalde meer dan 30 EURO voor lucht uit Frankrijk. Nu heb ik hetzelfde model in Duitsland ontvangen met verzendkosten voor 14,95 euro en ik zal nooit meer iets uit het buitenland bestellen.

Slow delivery and poor quality item.:Very disappointed. Delivery took 10 days. The paint, Humbrol Polished Steel, was very poor- separated into solid clumps and liquid, despite stirring, and was not fit for purpose. This is really Humbrol's fault but the supplier should ensure it supplies decent products.The definitions for the star ratings seem heavy on 'friction' and 'conduct'. I had no problems in these areas, but the whole experience was still Bad

Good selection, but poor communications and slow shipping:They have a good selection of products, but ""8 to 10 days"" shipping can take over two weeks to process. I've had questions on a couple of orders, and getting any response to those has been hit and miss. I'm still waiting for a response to a question I asked three weeks ago.

Wrong model.:Message: Hi I received this order today, 4/11. However you have sent the wrong model. As you will see from my order I ordered model HA7501, which was the one advertised, including photos, on your web site. You have sent me model HA7506, which has a completely different colour scheme. Order ID: 89285Product: BOEING P-26A PEASHOOTER Sent this to 1001 on 4/11 which they confirmed they had received. Have heard nothing since, now 11/11.

Niet aan te raden:Ik heb op 21/10/2016 een artikel besteld bij de winkel. Dit werd mij gemeld als verzonden op 24.10.2016, maar helaas is het pas vandaag, 07.11.2016, aangekomen. Zoiets gebeurt, het hoeft niet de schuld van de Modellbaushop te zijn. Wat wel vervelend is, is dat mijn pogingen om contact op te nemen met de verkoper - afgezien van een geautomatiseerd antwoord - gewoon werden genegeerd. Ik heb dus geen goederen en met dit soort klantenservice kan het wel eens heel moeilijk worden om het geld dat ik al heb betaald terug te krijgen. Ik zou waarschijnlijk de account die ik heb aangemaakt moeten sluiten...

Ongewoon lange verwerking:Item werd aangegeven als ""op voorraad"" en betaling van mijn kant werd onmiddellijk gedaan met Paypal. Desondanks werd de verzending niet uitgevoerd. Na meer dan een week kreeg ik pas het antwoord ""Bedankt voor uw geduld ..."" op mijn mail, waarom het artikel nog niet verzonden was. ...Ik had liever een uitleg gehad, ook een ""Sorry, was niet op voorraad ..."", zou geen probleem zijn. Item arriveerde laat maar goed verpakt en in perfecte staat, geen problemen afgezien van de vertraging in verzending. ...
Snelle en vlekkeloze levering:De levering was erg snel en goed verpakt. Omdat het artikel in Duitsland niet verkrijgbaar is, was ik blij het eindelijk bij 1001 modellbau te vinden.

1001 were very efficency and kept us up to date with our order.:1001 acted promptly to let us know our order was out of stock and offered an alternative and refunded our money when we didn't want a replacement but l will definitely use them again .

Satisfied first time customer.:Well i only used this company once, but they had 2 planes i could not find anywhere else. They were delivered as advertized, and i would definitely use them again!
What A RIP OFF:I paid £26.00 for what I thought was a Supermarine Spitfire T9 two seat trainer with decals model kit, but turns out I paid £26.00 for badly detailed and moulded bits of plastic. I now have to purchase a Supermarine Spitfire MK 9 model kit to obtain the model I thought I was purchasing. They need to make it very clear on the website that you will be paying of OVERPRICED bits of plastic.

Decal order:Not happy with the service.....after seeing and paying one price for decals, my invoice for billing showed a higher price of about $4.50 higher than should have been....They said orders will be shipped in about 6-8 days after receving. which was on Aug 17,...its now been over 2 weeks and my order says its still being processed...I have written them twice asking about my order and as of yet no reply..I understand it comes out of France, but there should be some connection here...Customer service is a 617 area code...so NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!!

Great Planes Super Sportster 40:Ordered a Great Planes Super Sportster 40 ARF kit at a good price from 1001 Modelkits and was pleased with the service. The kit took a couple of weeks to arrive but with the free postage and competitive pricing, that was fine. Will order from 1001 Modelkits againg, very pleased with the Great Planes kit!
