That is almost unheard of, and shows great service. While I look for items here in the US, I will contact 1001 Modelkits first before anyone else. Awesome service

Great customer service:Great customer service. Ordered from the US during the Christmas holidays. Decals arrived in very durable packaging to prevent damage. Email response was prompt and positive. If you are ordering from the US, you will not be disappointed. I will certainly order from them again.
Shop somewhere else, they’re terrible.:Horrible customer service. I paid for an order with expedited shipping for items they had listed as in stock. After two weeks of no order updates or delivery, I sent an email. They told me that the in-stock items I paid for had to be ordered from elsewhere and would be arriving in another week or so. I asked for a refund for the expedited shipping. I had to contact them again for them to notify me that my package had been shipped. Still no refund for shipping difference. This company sucks. Customer service is atrocious. They don’t care about their customers. Avoid them at all costs.

Accidentally created an order:Accidentally created an order, tried calling, no response on either USA number. Sent an email, got a very professional reply saying that they would cancel the order and I would get a refund within 14 days. Sure, sounds great. Except that I got a notification from the delivery company saying that my package is still arriving, and 1001 Model Kits has not responded since regarding the package or refund status. The package is now waiting at the delivery company's office and I have yet to hear back from them. BTW, their website changed the price from $20 on like 4 payment screens, to $140 on the very last payment screen, for a $14 item (that weighs about 1oz). (it seriously says $125 charged for shipping on the email I received). I'm assuming it's a software bug and they dont intentionally swindle people... but the fact that they shipped my item, despite telling me they would cancel my order within 24 hours of placing the order makes me think that they're running a scam. At the very least, it doesn't feel like their customer service works very hard to make things right.

I feel kinda ripped off:I paid 65€ for express shipping from france to switzerland and still waited 20 days for my package to arrive. Even though all items were listed as available. Prices are with tax included but they shouldnt if the customer is outside of France. (In the End i paid around 413$ for the same item i could have gotten from Ebay for 320$ with faster shipping and less trouble.Thats why i rate it Poor for anyone who lives outside France.But what i also have to say that the items arrived in perfect condition and everything was okay. Customer service was also really nice and helpful. But still....

I realize mistakes are made HOWEVER I still find this unprofessional because I should not had to wait this long for something I paid for a long time ago or get my refund. Absolutely terrible customer service:March 2020 update:Still waitingFebruary 2020 update:Several weeks later, after claiming to be processing a refund, I am still waiting.Absolutely terrible customer service, waited a month for an item that showed as shipped only to be told they marked as shipped as a mistake with no resolution.Even in their reply below, you can see how half hearted their customer service is. I never received even an apology and am still waiting for a refund. Do not purchase from this website.As you can continue to see below, they have never even attempted to apologize, just more dumb jokes. This was a late gift request from my nephew and I was thrilled to see in stock here because it was sold out everywhere else. Instead the order stalled after a couple days, reading as 'shipped' with no update or communication. Not everyone is in on your brand of humor, some people just want to buy a thing and have it delivered to the address provided in the time frame that was given at check, you know, like how all e-commerce sites work. Not this one though, they will not deliver your order and think they're cool with insider humor while doing it. I'm sure whatever self-important reply they have next will only continue to show how little they care about their customers. Literally all that needed to be said, was 'We're so sorry, we will process a refund' or you could have provided any update to shipping when something was clearly stalled for about 3 weeks on an order that should have been delivered within one.
