Ordered model paint on March 17:Ordered model paint on March 17, order got confirmed a day later and email 2 days later that was processed on March 18. By May 5th still nothing, reply on an email they told that the order was shipped on March 26 and I should ask in 15 days again. By May 20 still nothing and now they went silent on my emails. Asked for refund now through my credit card company. Would not use it again.

My item was shipped 8 days ago and I…:My item was shipped 8 days ago and I have not received it yet. All I can find out is that it was shipped on the 13th. Now the 21st. I see no way to contact 1001 to ask for help and no way to further track my package . I’m just out $ for the second time on the same item. Different sellers though. Just my luck. All I want are my diff gears.

Very unhappy customer.:Take extra money for fast delivery then it does not come in time said. Still not got yet. Check their community section on FB page, lots of people with same complaint. I will not order from here again and suggest no one does. Appear a cowboy operation. I am.appealing through PayPal for a refund.

They said they had my item in stock i…:they said they had my item in stock i paid them nearly £100.00, when it did`nt arrive, i checked tracking, only to see ""not available"" i e mailed them, and they replied that i could have a cover note to get other item of same value. as there`s nothing else i want, i said i wanted my money back . they have not answered me . i have tried time and time again to contact them ,but no reply. dont make the same mistake as me-dont trust them to refund .

Terrible service.:Bought my items for this store believing it to be UK based. Paid for expedited shipping as well. On the same day I ordered from 1001 I also ordered from an actual UK based company, Kentmodels.co.uk and recieved my order in two days! I even ordered decals off a Japanese based company on ebay and even these have arrived before my order from 1001!This will be my first and last purchase from 1001.

Item never received:Item never received. Unable to contact seller to let them know that the item has been returned to them by their courier.Would not use again.

Quick to process refund:got a refund from this company (based in France, not the UK) due to delays on delivering a birthday present which was ordered 2 weeks in advance of the birthday. To be fair to them they were quick with refund when I complained (hence the three stars). I marked them down a couple of stars as it's still a bit misleading on their website as to where the company is based.

First time purchase:This was my first purchases with 1001and completely on line because of COVID-19. I usually like to discuss any questions I may have about the items I wish to purchase with a member of staff but glad to say that everything turned out ok. The range of items was a delight to see from just one supplier. I am now considering my next buying spree with 1001. Thanking all the team for a great effort in delivering my order within one week. Claim to be a English company!!!:Claim to be a English company but in fact its based abroad.. I cant stress enough how dodgy that is.. Also you can try ring the uk number but it never gets answer. Pitiful really. I can understand how they are only 3 star.. Stick to proper uk based hobby sellers, you wont go far wrong there.

Oplichters:Ze annuleren automatisch de helft van je bestelling die je dan als voucher krijgt en de andere helft komt gewoon niet. Op mails krijg je amper reactie en ze doen er alles aan om je af te houden. Het nummer zijn ze ook niet op te bereiken. BESTEL HIER NIET!!!

This site makes no indication it is not…:This site makes no indication it is not based in the UK unless you come off their website to see it is actually French. I placed an order on the second of the month and have still not recieved it. I only purchased from this site as they had everything in stock at the time. Although it would have been easier to wait for the items on eModels to come back into stock as it would have arrived sooner anyway and most likely cheaper. Looks as though my review is not a one off, a lot of people are having the same issue. I hope these reviews make them decide to change their site information to let us know they are not actually shipping from the UK when you place an order. I have now sent an email to see what can be done regarding the order and have asked for it to be cancelled if they cannot help.I get these are tough times however every other order I have placed has arrived within half the time. As far as im concerned this will be my last order from this site.

Totally disapointed:Totally disapointed. 24 .o4 order for some decals. Delivery expected 05.05. After me sending a polite message on May the 5th asking about my delivery time update the answer was quite rude saying I will have a refund. No atempts to solve my order. No excuses. I can see the product on the web page still aviable and aparentlly I can do another order. Never again!I hope they will refund. Dont use this company! The public relation stinks.

My order of PJ Production Pilots:I found 1001modelkits.com after searching for 1/72 pilots. They had a good selection and found what I was looking for. I ordered 3x PJ Production pilot packs and place my order on April 1st, 2020. After 10 days, I emailed them to find out the status of my order. They emailed back saying it was shipped. Since I live in the USA, my order did arrive on May 2. Maybe because of the COVID and over seas shipping, it took a bit to arrive, but my order got here and am very happy.

Stock Status on website incorrect:Placed an order based on it being in stock, after six days I was contacted to say that they no longer have the item. Unfortunately in the time the item is no longer available elsewhere, I wish I used a better company.

Leuk kado voor mijn vader eindigt in maanden contact zoeken met 1001modelbouw:Begin maart een bouwdoos besteld. Ik kreeg geen mail dat de bestelling rond was. Alleen op de site zag ik dat de transactie geslaagd was.Na 3 weken heb ik ze gemaild met de vraag waar het bleef.Vervolgens 5 dagen later antwoord gehad, waar ik helemaal niks mee kon.Daarna nog 3x contact gezocht via de mail (want het buitenlandse nummer op de site doet het natuurlijk niet...)Geen reactie. Ik wil gewoon mijn geld terug en ik bestel hier NOOIT MEER.En als ik u was zou ik dat ook niet doen. Oplichters!
