Te weinig info, duur, en te lange leveringsduur:Vanaf 69 euro verzending is het gratis verzending staat op de site, kom je bij betalen komt er direct 10.99 euro bij, ik vindt het veel geld voor het volume van de bouwdoos die je krijgt en ook weinig informatie er rond. Lange verzendtijd.

Unbelievably awful service:I was planning on buying various things from there site, but after seeing these reviews I tested it with one item first. I payed for the fastest shipping option and they still took over 2 months. After I finally recieved the package I figured I could order the other things I wanted since the first one checked out (even with ridiculous time). But than a month after my second order I receive an email stating the items were listed at the wrong price , and they removed every single item I purchased from their website. Took them a month to let me know they messed up, AND THE REFUND STILL HASNT GONE THROUGH!!!Forgot to add this part too at first... but also when I asked them a question via email it took 4 days for a response and the answer was just PART OF MY OWN QUESTION COPY PASTED AND SENT BACK TO ME.I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS SITE!!!!!
Toevallig dat deze model redelijk…:Toevallig dat deze model redelijk normaal geprijsd is,.. maar ik kom regelmatig vliegtuig bouwdozen tegen die 2x zo duur zijn elders,.. goed voorbeeld is de Tamiya P28 Lightning,1:48 scaal... kost bij jullie €110,- terwijl overal elders €65,- Tot €69,- zo ook de AirfixMosquito, scaal 1:24 bij julle ver over de €200,- terwijl je m elders kan kopen voorde helft,...dit valt me op met veel van jullie pakketten,..waarom is dit zo..?Maar bestelde artikelen van mij zijn altijd zeer goed en snel geleverd, dus dat is topMet vriendelijk groet,Cees
Item arrived quickly:
Disappointing:Ordered a kit 9 weeks ago and was told that it had been dispatched a week later. After several email exchanges I requested an update or a refund to which the response was that they were still following up with Hermes. No further communication was forthcoming so I instructed my bank to reclaim a refund via the Chargeback arrangement which they did straight away. For more than 20 years I have ordered models from all over the world with few problems. Perhaps I was just unlucky but this was the first and last time I will use this supplier.

Dubieus zakelijk gedrag:Ik heb 3 Futaba BLS 253 servo's besteld voor €106 per stuk en na ongeveer 2 weken ontvangen.Helaas was één servo vanaf het begin defect, dus heb ik een garantieclaim ingediend. Na wat stevige e-mailcorrespondentie kreeg ik een retouradres waarnaar ik de servo met een kopie van de factuur moest opsturen.Volgens DHL shipment tracking is de zending daar op 23 juni 2020 afgeleverd. Op 20.07. vroeg ik wanneer ik een terugbetaling of nieuwe levering kan verwachten.Op 21.07. antwoord van 1001 Hobbies dat mijn zending daar niet is aangekomen. En ik geloof gewoon niet dat 1001 Hobbies de zending niet ontvangen wil hebben, dit toont het niet bestaande service concept van 1001 Hobbies aan. Voor mij is dit dubieus! Moet je dat echt doen? Waarschijnlijk moet je in Frankrijk persoonlijk een retourzending tegen ontvangstbewijs inleveren om je geld terug te krijgen. Ik vermoed dat de klant hier bewust wordt opgelicht met garantieclaims en ik annuleer de zaak, zal zeker nooit meer bij ze kopen en raad iedereen aan dat niet te doen. Een goed bedrijf laat zich zien als het gaat om problemen of service en van 1001 Hobbies kun je niets verwachten. Eén ster is nog steeds te veel.
DUMAS Boten Atlas van lines:Het heeft veel langer geduurd dan in de offerte stond, maar 1001 Modellbau is erin geslaagd om deze zeer zeldzame kit te leveren. En in onberispelijke staat.

Since the first time I started using…:Since the first time I started using 1001 modelkits I've been very impressed with the service I've had, and the quality of the items I've ordered, their prompt with deliveries and have always kept me apprised on orders, all in all I can't fault them. Only use Paypal or Credit Card!!!! Wish I had seen reviews before puchase:Ordered two items (value approx. 2x £100, Total £200) during Covid -19 (I totally appreciated the order was likely to be delayed). I payed extra for quicker shipping (with everything going on I honestly expected it to be delivered within 7-14 days). All items on the website said “instock” at time of order or I wouldn’t have ordered them. A month later I had no sign of the order and it still said processing on their website.I emailed 1001 on 3 occasions to get an ETA for the order, I was eventually told the second item was “out of stock” (I beleive it was still being displayed as ""in stock"" on their website at that time...), I gave them the opportunity to provide two of the first item instead. That suggestion was ignored and I after I kept pushing they started a new thread to tell me again that the “2nd item was out of stock”. Communication was next to useless, single response to each email thread followed by ghosting after that every time. I gave up and raised a PayPal claim. I warned them after making the claim and suggested the alternative again which they also ignored.I would not recommend and I can’t stress enough to make sure you can claim if they don’t deliver (only buy with PayPal or Creditcard). I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt but it does smell dodgy.

I was very upset when UPS sent me an…:I was very upset when UPS sent me an email telling me my F-106 model had been delivered and UPS had not been seen on the street I live on. So I start a claim against UPS and the claim was denied because only the shipper can file a claim. On the third evening while I was working on the claim I received a phone call from someone 4 blocks away informing me that they had my shipment. It was addressed to me but had the wrong address on the package. This kind person researched my name and found my address and they were on the to deliver it. I checked the order and my mailing address was correct. Someone at the shippers end entered the wrong address. The model looks great but I will have to find a way to remove the decals and put the set I ordered on. I wish they produce the aircraft model without decals so customers then apply what they want on them.

The mould itself was good- the parts…:The mould itself was good- the parts were of good quality and were an army green colour, making it easier to paint after assembling. However, it did not include decals. Also, the instructions omitted certain parts and were difficult to understand.

Service from 1001 hobbies was good:Service from 1001 hobbies was good but what I bought was rubbish. I have bee flying radio control aircraft for over 40 years but made the mistake of buying a glider based on the description only to find that it appeared to be a very expensive toy and it went straight in the rubbish bin. You live and learn.

Ik wacht al 6 weken op mijn bestelling:Deze website verdient niet echt een ster. Ik bestelde mijn artikel en had problemen met mijn afleveradres. Maar toen deze eindelijk opgelost waren (zogenaamd) werden de goederen gewoon niet geleverd, hoewel ze (weer zogenaamd) nog op voorraad zijn. Nu zes weken na bestelling is de verzending nog steeds niet in zicht. Ik kan alleen maar afraden om bij deze leverancier te kopen, en let niet op de goede recensies. De meeste zijn overduidelijk bots als je kijkt naar de naam en de structuur van de beoordeling.

Absurdly poor choice of packaging:Shipping overseas (from France to the UK) you'd think they would have used more sturdy packaging to protect the goods you've paid for. But no, all I got was a very thin jiffy bag to protect my item, resulting in the cardboard backing being damaged. Very surprising considering the collectable nature of the items they sell. Will not be shopping here again.

When I contacted them I got a quick response from customer services to apologise and explain the delay was down to one paint being temporarily out of stock.Overall, good service and would use again.
