Horrible Order Processing - Do Not Buy From 1001 Hobbies:I have twice within a month received the wrong items in my shipment. Does anyone confirm what ordered item is being sent before shipping? Absolutely the worst online buying experience I have ever had.

I’ve used these guys a few times:I’ve used these guys a few times. You place your order and get about a million notifications then silence for a few weeks. Then all of a sudden Hermes or UPS tell you they have had an international package for you and it appears on a courier. Good prices on some items, every order has been completely fulfilled for me.

Absolutely terrible service took over…:Absolutely terrible service took over 14 days to arrive for items that fitted in a large envelope type package , no updates , it took them 5 days before it was sent from the day of my payment for the order, the worst online shop I have ever used , no way to realistically contact and when I did email no reply after 3 emails , obviously they don’t care about their customers at all ! will not buy from again ever

The site can be a bit 'clunky' to…:The site can be a bit 'clunky' to navigate if you are not sure what you're looking for. Overall though, the site does have extensive ranges of models, paints, etc. The prices compare well to Amazon and eBay and delivery dates are really good and mostly the orders arrive before the quoted dates. It's just not that easy to use on a mobile phone!

Lack of correspondence:Bought a model Ferrari for my son. Transaction went through easily enough. However, the model came from France and the tracking information (translated from French) suggested it might take 30 days before delivery. Contacted 1001Modelkits to ask for clarification and did not receive any reply. Slightly disappointing. The model did turn up, however, a few days later. So alls well that ends well. Just please, reply to correspondence.

Even though I was in the states they took the time to respond to me on any questions I had and were able to let me know when my models would be available. My box was slightly squished but I'm sure that has to do more so with the shipping than this company. Overall highly satisfied with the quality of customer support and prompt shipping. Thanks so much for fulfilling my order all away across the Atlantic.

Bijna perfect!:Heel goeie prijs voor de producten die ik toch, makkelijke betaling en snelle levering. Daarbovenop was het pakket goed verpakt! Jammer genoeg geen 5/5 want mijn producten zaten onder het stof. Verder niets op aan te merken.

1001 modelkits got me parts for my…:1001 modelkits got me parts for my Maverick vader. I've waited up to 8 with other shops, 3 weeks after ordering 1001 Models had delivered. Excellent service and competitive prices.

Frankly inadequate:Frankly inadequate. 9 days to ship a small photo-etched part which was in stock, then 15 days to arrive from Northern France to the UK. So 24 days in total. The management needs to review its procedures. There are plenty of model suppliers out there.
