Found desired item at 1001 Modelkits:I looked everywhere in the USA for this item. It was either sold-out of no longer in production. My search lead me to 1001 Modelkits in France. They had a Ki44 that was out of production and hard to find anywhere, THEY HAD THAT TOO !! I needed a Eduard interior set for the 1/32nd Hasegawa Ki61, and there it was, Ordered up and in about a week I had it on my doorstep.Thanks to all at 1001 Modelkits for helping me finish my model.Respectfully,Kevin BurkeUSA

Good! Arrived just in time.:Order placed as gift for my nephew. Came nicely wrapped, and just in time after allowances made for Covid19. Customers are reminded that the company though based within UK imports goods from outside Britain so bear this in mind when delivery times are critical. I am broadly pleased with the outcome.

Het artikel is beschadigd, ik kan het niet terugsturen via mijn klantenaccount, geen van de telefoonnummers werkt en de klantenservice via e-mail krijgt ook geen contact. Ik wil het artikel terugsturen en mijn geld terugkrijgen! Het is geweldig dat er een 30 dagen retourmogelijkheid is - maar je hebt er niets aan als je niemand kunt bereiken via telefoon, e-mail of klantenaccount! Bestel gewoon niets!!! EDIT: Na mijn recensie op dit portaal heb ik nu een e-mail ontvangen en kan ik het artikel terugsturen tegen betaling van de verzendkosten. Zowel het artikel als de verpakking zijn echter beschadigd (ik had foto's bij mijn e-mail gevoegd), wat waarschijnlijk de schuld is van de fabrikant en het verzendbedrijf. Echter, de verkoper en niet de koper is hiervoor aansprakelijk (ondernemersrisico en kopersbescherming), vandaar dat de verkoper de verzendkosten voor zijn rekening moet nemen. En beide telefoonnummers (0308 09 35 7 83 en 49 692 045 79 231) werken niet.

Much better and I take it all back now.:Last time I gave them two stars and thought I was being generous. I can totally understand delays during the pandemic and, if they can finally, four months on, deliver something I thought impossible to find (which they did), I must say a thankyou. They get so many five stars, but too many one stars, suggesting a huge variation in perception. I would bet that an easy order, of readily available products, gets through in no time. Any problem though and the issue then becomes communication or the lack of. How often is that case anywhere? Even the standardised repeated replies, here on line, to the most favourable reviews, suggest a simple failure to communicate with customers. On this occasion though I got constant messages about delivery progress, for a product I had assumed impossible to find. Complete contrast to my previous experience. I will not judge them too harshly now, they have had problems with moving site I do know and there is some suggestion of a worldwide virus problem of some kind. Good luck folks.

NOT IMPRESSED!:I've ordered a few things and was kindly given a £5 voucher to use for my next purchase. When I tried to use the voucher it wa refused. NOT IMPRESSED!My last order was accepted and one model was delivered but the second is ""out of stock"". I was not told this until after delivery. NOT IMPRESSED!I have asked for a refund of the out of stock ited. As yet no reply. NOT IMPRESSED!I will not be using 1001 Modelkits again.

Shipping was expensive but I received my order much earlier than I expected under the current circumstances. Will definitely be buying from 1001Hobbies again!!

Great site, quality product and fast delivery:Had been looking for a good 3d metal puzzle everywhere (that wasnt shipped drom the USA) and only found it here! Fantastic product, a gift for my architect colleagues, and arrived really quickly despite covid delays. Highly recommend.

I would have given them no stars if I…:I would have given them no stars if I could, bought a model from them which I received back in July with missing parts, which I still have not received. I’ve asked for a refund which they agreed On the 5th September and would be done at the beginning of the week, I’m still waiting on this, they have ignored my last two emails For a update on the refund. Still haven’t had a reply not impressed with their customer service, wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Zeer slechte winkel!!:Precies vandaag ben ik al 7 weken bezig om mijn bouwpakket compleet te krijgen. Toen het pakket binnen kwam miste er 1 zakje met wat kleine onderdelen. Na diverse emails waar geen reactie op kwam, heb ik via Facebook contact gezocht. Hier kreeg ik snel reactie en het zou opgelost worden. Sinds het contact via Facebook is het 5 weken van meerdere berichten en belofte, maar ik heb nog steeds mijn bouwpakket niet compleet. Ik zit nu dus met een bouwpakket van €70,- die ik niet kan bouwen. Bestel niks bij deze winkel!

Took 8 days to go from France to US. - This is normal. Took 5 days to be delivered. Slow again. I'm giving a 3 out of 5 stars, 1-3 days to make the order and ship it is acceptable. 7 days is not. Shipping cost at 24.00 is way too high. Box was mangled and crushed on one side but everything was OKYou could read the contents of the shipping box because it had the invoice with the items clearly readable. One of the dumbest things I've seen. I gave you a fair shot at my business, you took too long and cost too much.

Lange levertijd, hoge portokosten, belabberde verpakking: 4 weken levertijd voor (althans bij bestelling zo aangegeven) voorraadartikelen, portokosten waar je een S*au van krijgt, en rampzalig verpakt: De artikelen (inclusief glas) in een bubbeltjesenvelop gegooid, een gat in de envelop geknipt voor de te grote dingen, en op naar het postkantoor.1x en nooit meer!!!! Absoluut geen aanrader!!!
