Niet meer beschikbaar na betaling: Het artikel is niet meer beschikbaar op de 4e dag na bevestiging van ontvangst van betaling. Er wordt een vervangend artikel of een tegoedbon aangeboden. Ik heb alleen dit artikel nodig en heb het koopcontract geannuleerd. Omdat 1001 modellbau volgens hun e-mail hun deel van het contract niet kan nakomen, verwacht ik het volledige reeds betaalde bedrag inclusief verzendkosten terug.
Not truthful about inventory?:When I ordered the product it was stated it was in stock, two weeks later I received notification the product was shipped - I have still not received the product. Their are either very disorganized or not truthful about their inventory. My order was two masking sets that would fit into an envelope and their shipping fees where extremely high. I wanted the product so I moved forward. Other vendors had the same product, lower cost and lower shipping but were truthful about delivery time (that would be sooner than this experience). Next time, I will go with the other vendors.Update - Feb 21, 2021 and still have not received the product - ordered Jan 31, 2021Update: Feb 26, 2021 Received the package. It is an Eduard masking kit. They do say that on their site, but I missed that..my fault. I have ordered from Eduard direct in the past, about the same price but far lower shipping cost and delivery was much faster.
Jammer...:Ik had de "Pirates of the Caribbean"" gekocht als aanvulling op een scheepsmodel. Van de 48 figuren in de set waren er maar 12 verschillend. Dat wil zeggen, vier figuren van elk type. Vier kapiteins naast vier piratenbruiden op het dek zetten werkt niet echt. Helaas waren de figuren ook erg slecht gegoten. Overal bramen en niet erg gedetailleerd. Ik had meer verwacht voor de prijs! Wat jammer...
Placed two orders which they did not…:Placed two orders which they did not combine postage, one order took ages to be delivered, the second was lost. They did replace the lost order, but overall postage took too long, so I won't be using them again.

Has a lot of products, BUT...:has a lot of products, unbearably unintuitive however. Searched for something and it doesn't show up, instead the results are rammed with random crap nothing to do with what I seached for, when later I'm browsing and the thing I was looking for is there, huge pain in the ass trying to find anything in particular on this site.
Slow and cumbersome fulfillment:The attraction is the huge range of products. They are not discounted and I have never been asked for a Paypal fee before. Two items shown as in stock turned out not to be, this was irritating and delayed processing of my order.You are not told the supplier is in France which will obviously impact delivery time and cost. All in all three weeks to deliver.Only useful if you cannot find the products elsewhere.

I sent an email requesting that they change my order to the english version. They responded that they made the change. At the moment I ordered two times and…:At the moment I ordered two times and both came within relative short time after the orders were placed. In the past there were a few minor difficulties but they were rectified. I'm confident enough to know that if I were to place a new order, that the company will send it in a short amount of time. The only thing I find a bit dissapointing about the shop, is their price range for model kits. I mean the prices never stay the same. For example, when I buy a model kit at a price of € 24.99 9without shipping costs, the next week this price is suddenly € 37,99, for the same model kit. So prices never stay exactly as they are. If a model kit is on sale, then it's understandable. But if they have a certain positive inventory, they should keep the prices the same. Weither it's € 37,99 or less.

Great products, slow delivery and communication:The products were great and well packaged, however delivery took 5 weeks to arrive and it was difficult to get a response from.I spent about 3 weeks trying to get in touch with 1001 Modelkits as the delivery tracking info hadn't changed. I can see they've put an email address on their website now so hopefully this will improve.I understand Covid/Brexit/recent weather are causing delays, however I've received similar packages (size and value) from France in less than a week. I would encourage 1001 Modelkits to look at other couriers.I would order again, but expect a long wait for delivery.

Inconsistente prijs-prestatieverhouding:Ik kan de lange levertijd bevestigen die al in de andere beoordelingen is beschreven. Helaas was de doos van het model dat ik bestelde, hoewel goed verpakt, beschadigd aan de hoeken (gescheurd en ingedeukt). Het moet dus met gebreken zijn verzonden. Als cadeau was dit nogal onaantrekkelijk. Gelukkig is het model zelf in orde. Voor de prijs en administratiekosten van bijna 10! euro verwacht ik dat de goederen in perfecte staat zijn.
Foute info website:De levering duurde jammergenoeg een hele tijd.Er werd vermeld op de website dat er 120 verfstrips inzaten.Echter zaten er maar 20 verfstrips met telkens 6 potjes, waardoor je 120 potjes hebt, maar geen 120 verfstrips.
Still haven't received package:Not your fault. USPS still hasn't delivered my package. It's been almost an entire month since I ordered it and it was supposed to be delivered on December 18th.
Veel te lange levertijd:Veel te lange levertijd. Er stond 5 dagen en we hebben een maand moeten wachten. Kerstcadeau was net op tijd nog. Het artikel stond beschikbaar, als jullie het artikel niet hebben en niet kunnen verzekeren dat het op tijd kan verzonden worden dan zetten jullie dat beter niet op jullie site.

Unlikely to get further business with this kind of service:This posting is as at 1700GMT on 25/12/20 in response to a request from 1001 Modelkits for a review. Current status is that my order, placed on 04/12/20, is yet to arrive. At the time of order it was claimed to be in stock but then delayed whilst stock was obtained. Email received on 18/12 stating it has been shipped but the Courier's status is still at ""We're expecting it"".Update at 29/12. Parcel arrived today in good condition. Recipient very happy with it. Changed title from ""Never getting further business with this kind of service"" and rating from 1star to 3 star. No higher because the initial ""In stock"" was not true and the length of delivery time prior to receipt by UK courier was excessive (although some of that may have been abnormal due to covid related port closures).

Cutty Sark:Cutty SarkDe onderdelen zien er naar verwachting uit, er lijkt wel een enkel onderdeel te missen. Gelukkig geen cruciaal onderdeel, dus dat komt bij het bouwen wel goed.De aflevering zou tussen 3 en 8 december zijn, helaas kwam het pakje pas op de 12e.
Veel keuze:Veel keuze, maar bij een onjuiste levering zeer slecht bereikbare service afdeling. Als het wel lukt om contact te maken wordt het probleem naar tevredenheid opgelost.
Artikel ok, lange levertijd:bestelde artikel is geleverd en in orde. besteld op 23-11, levertijd van 15 dagen (11 werkdagen) is wel erg lang, was bedoeld voor Sinterklaasavond, helaas pas op 8-12 bezorgd.

Prices seem to be pretty good compared to other sites.My problem is with the shipping - while this is not a problem 1001models is responsible for, I have not received the order I placed on 10-31. The only tracking info I've received indicates that the United States Postal Service accepted the package in France for delivery on November 11. Since then, the package has disappeared into a lost package hell. I've begun trying to get help finding the package and effecting delivery from both 1001models and the U.S. Postal Service. So far, it hasn't been located.

Poor communication:I ordered a product which I later found out had to be sourced from elsewhere so there was a delay. I did receive the goods in due course. However, my biggest gripe was the lack of and poor communication throughout. Otherwise ok.

De aankomst:Je betaald voor versturing met DPD, trouwens meer dan normaal, en dan krijg je mail dat je pakketje door B-post verder wordt verhandeld....Alles was op tijd maar te hoge distributie kosten, waarom dan niet direct B-post...Ook geen keuze mogelijkheid kwa versturing : waarom geen mogelijkheid om iets later te laten leveren met mindere verzendkosten, niet alles moet morgen leverbaar zijn. Een review is zever als er geen respons komt. Ik wacht wel een beetje. Groeten Werner
