Niet aan te raden:Ik heb op 21/10/2016 een artikel besteld bij de winkel. Dit werd mij gemeld als verzonden op 24.10.2016, maar helaas is het pas vandaag, 07.11.2016, aangekomen. Zoiets gebeurt, het hoeft niet de schuld van de Modellbaushop te zijn. Wat wel vervelend is, is dat mijn pogingen om contact op te nemen met de verkoper - afgezien van een geautomatiseerd antwoord - gewoon werden genegeerd. Ik heb dus geen goederen en met dit soort klantenservice kan het wel eens heel moeilijk worden om het geld dat ik al heb betaald terug te krijgen. Ik zou waarschijnlijk de account die ik heb aangemaakt moeten sluiten...

What A RIP OFF:I paid £26.00 for what I thought was a Supermarine Spitfire T9 two seat trainer with decals model kit, but turns out I paid £26.00 for badly detailed and moulded bits of plastic. I now have to purchase a Supermarine Spitfire MK 9 model kit to obtain the model I thought I was purchasing. They need to make it very clear on the website that you will be paying of OVERPRICED bits of plastic.

Decal order:Not happy with the service.....after seeing and paying one price for decals, my invoice for billing showed a higher price of about $4.50 higher than should have been....They said orders will be shipped in about 6-8 days after receving. which was on Aug 17,...its now been over 2 weeks and my order says its still being processed...I have written them twice asking about my order and as of yet no reply..I understand it comes out of France, but there should be some connection here...Customer service is a 617 area code...so NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE AT ALL!!!!!!

Where is my order:I ordered a couple of masking sets on August 11, 2016 I received a note on August 12, 2016 that my order was processed and that my payment was received. I have yet to receive any correspondance with a ship date or DHL tracking number. I have since sent 2 more request and no answer. This is not the way to run a business. The sets I ordered were in Stock.

Now the 8/08/16. It's a long few days and still no reply to direct emails and no refund. I would advise you to be wary of this company and shop around.:I ordered 2 kits on behalf of my son only to find out the next day that I had ordered the wrong kits. I immediately emailed details cancelling my order and asked for a reply confirming this. Ten days later and after quite a few emails done through the website contact us page as instructed I hve heard nothing, The onle email I have had was one stating......Your order is currently being processed. We are waiting for a product currently being brought by one of our providers. You will be notified as soon as your order is sent.Not the best customer service team. I suspect they want my £83.

Zeer slechte ervaring: Een partij emaille kleuren werd niet op tijd geleverd, was daardoor niet meer bruikbaar en werd teruggestuurd naar het Franse adres dat op de website stond. Er werd echter geen geld teruggegeven. E-mails werden niet beantwoord. De ""hotline"" met Berlijns nummer die op de Duitse website staat, bestaat uit een Frans antwoordapparaat. De dealer, gevestigd in Frankrijk, deed alsof hij dood was; er zouden twee manieren zijn geweest om juridische stappen te ondernemen, maar beide zouden ingewikkeld en onrendabel zijn geweest. Onderzoek bracht toen de mogelijkheid aan het licht om de zaak voor te leggen aan het "Centre for European Consumer Protection"". De tijdrovende formaliteiten waren succesvol: vier maanden na het terugsturen van de goederen ontving ik een e-mail van de winkelier: 7 juin 12:03 CESTHello,Dank u, we zullen de terugbetaling zo snel mogelijk uitvoeren.Met vriendelijke groet, Guillaume Mortier (1001maquettes)Het geld werd inderdaad gecrediteerd.

Horrible Horrible service:Purchased a photo etch for F6f2 Hellcat on June 29. No where on the 1001 Model Kit web site was there a clear statement that products would be shipped from France!!. On July 6 received an e mail that product had been shipped and I would receive a postal tracking number as soon as available. Never received the tracking number. I telephoned customer service and got a recorded message in French! Sent another e-mail and got response ""will answer as soon as possible.""It is now July 14, and product not received. I live on the US east coast in New jersey so product should have arrived after eight (8) days intransit, unless mailed by boat.Sent another e-mail with the same standard response ""will answer as soon as possible.""I am in the process of notifying Visa that I will not pay the charges to my account because of non delivery.I never had such a terrible experience with model hobby vendors. You are unable to speak with anyone, and recorded telephone messages are in French. I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING PURCHASING FROM THIS VENDOR TO REMEMBER THAT THE WAREHOUSE SHIPPING POINT IS IN FRANCE AND THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATIONS FROM THIS VENDOR AS TO THE STATUS OF AN ORDER other than it was shipped.Personally I do not believe this vendor had the product in stock, and never actually shipped this product. If you live in Canada or the USAbeware doing business with this vendor.I am resigned to the fact that my money will not be refunded and is lost.WRPFinally on July 18 received merchandise. It had been mailed from France on July 12 and not July 6 as claimed in the vendor's e-mail.The product was ordered on June 29. Had the vendor been honest as to the date of shipment, and answered my e-mail queries, all this time wasting mess could have been avoided. This organization is a mess,never again will I place an order. They are unable to communicate effectively with the customer.

Haven't Received my order yet.:Order was sent to old address. I had thought I had changed it in time to get it sent to my present address. Am working with former landlord to try & track down where the package ended up. Not really a critisism of1001 modelkits, as much as DSL, who could of done a better job checking who was signing for the package

Foreign Languages on Customer Service, I don't speak Chinese. frustrating.:I called to check on my order and got a Chinese message, tried to send online message and it was only in french. ordered 3 weeks ago and i still don't have my package, it took ten days before they even shipped it. no tracking etc etc etc. The worst.

Nooit meer:Ik zal hier nooit meer bestellen ik bestelde op 09.05.16, omdat het artikel niet leverbaar was heb ik een terugbetaling aangevraagd vandaag hebben we het 06.07.16 en mijn geld is tot vandaag nog niet terug overgemaakt hoewel mijn bankgegevens wel beschikbaar zijn.Ik vind dit een brutaliteit eerst wordt men afgeschrikt dan wordt er ineens niet meer gereageerd op verzonden mails.Ik kan iedereen alleen maar aanraden om via paypal te betalen anders heb je alleen maar problemen.

Wang: Ik bestelde Revell verf op 24.01.16, op 05.02.16 ontving ik een e-mail dat ze nu worden verzonden, geadverteerd als 7 tot 9 dagen. Op 11.02.16 ontving ik weer een e-mail met een zending tracking, er stond: ""De levertijd is van 5 tot 7 dagen."" In de tussentijd had ik de hoop opgegeven en de kleuren elders gehaald. Toen ze aankwamen, wilde ik gebruik maken van mijn 30 dagen retourrecht. Ik kon geen retourbon vinden, dus pakte ik een pakje in en stuurde het terug naar Frankrijk voor €10 verzendkosten naar het adres dat was opgegeven voor retourzendingen. Ze weigerden het te accepteren en het pakket werd op 14 maart teruggestuurd. Ik heb het geld voor de kleuren afgeschreven, dit is niet de manier om zaken te doen, ik kan iedereen alleen maar aanraden om daar niet te winkelen.

No product, no refund, no contact:Ordered December 2, 2015. Was to be a Christmas gift. Couple days before Christmas I emailed. They said order was still being completed. No sign of order in January 2016. Tried contacting them again by email and phone. No return of phone calls or emails. No refund !!!! Horrible company. Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!!!

Non-existant customer service.:I placed an order for an item in error and tried to contact 1001 Modelkits. I phoned them four times and never got an answer. I sent two emails via the site's online message app requesting a change to the order. No reply. Now I get a message nine days later saying they shipped the order before reading my change request.I will NOT order from this company again. I need to know I can contact someone if I have a problem or question, and 1001 Modelkits does not fill that bill.

Missing and broken parts.:When I received my model, it had 1 broken part and 2 missing parts.. I contacted the company. They said they would send the parts. Still no parts after several months. I contacted again. They said send photos of the parts from the assembly sheet with parts circled. Still no parts after more months. I contacted again, now they won't answer me. It has now been over a year.

Worst online shopping experience ever!:I ordered a Tiger tank (Academy - 1:35-AC1348) on 7th of november. I got an email saying that my order was being shipped on the 9th of november.Then nothing happened for a long time. I sent them an email on the 24th of novemeber asking what was happening with my order - NO answer.Then I sent more emails - still NO answers.On the 7th of december I complained to Pay Pal, And then finally on the 12th of december I got an email saying that my order somehow got lost, and now is out of stock and that they would refund my money. Today on 16th of december I got my money back.The Tiger tank is still listed on their site - shipped within 10-12 days.A bunch of drunk monkies would do a better job than these guys.DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.

Better chance of seeing pigs fly than seeing your order.:I placed an order on Oct. 22, 2015 for my elderly grandfather. As of November 29, 2015 I have not received my package or any response from the company into the whereabouts of the package. In fact, my order is still listed as being processed. Like many of their other customers, I think I have fallen victim to a scam where they say the item is in stock, but it actually isn't. My poor grandfather is very irritated. At this point I just want my money back so my grandfather will get off my back and I can order the product somewhere else. I have sent 3 emails, 2 where sent today. Their excellent customer service is a sham. Customer service is only available 2 hours a day in an unknown timezone if you speak French.

Poor customer service:Like so many of the other reviewers, I placed an order on 6/20/15, my order was suppose to ship between 8/7 & 10/7, I have not received my order,my status also has not changed. I've sent emails and received no response, tried the phone number, which has an amazingly short 2 hour window to call, but then I don't speak French so it's useless. This has to be the worse customer service I have ever experienced.

No contact. No return call or email. No shipping or tracking info.:I placed an order on 10-1-15 and received an email with the corresponding reference number. Enclosed in this email was the date of delivery being between 10-16-15 and 10-20-15. I also paid an upgraded shipping method so a tracking number would be supplied (UPS). However, no tracking number has ever been provided. My payment was processed and completed on 10-1-15 according to the order status on my account. I have patiently waited till today 10-20-15 which is the last day of promised delivery, but no delivery was made. For the last 3 days I have called the contact number which I only get a French answering service and no return call. I have emailed twice with no response, in an attempt to acquire a tracking number or some form of shipping info to conform some sort of progress is being made. I have also called the U.S. contact for returns in Centerton, AR with no success either. My order status has reflected the same message ""order being processed"" for 3 weeks now including after the promised delivery time has expired. If some sort of contact or explanation is not reciprocated, in the next day or so, I will be reporting this practice of customer neglect, and forwarding a copy of all correspondence to my attorney.

Awful/No Service:I can only echo the experiences of many of the dissatisfied reviewers of 1001 Modelkits. I ordered an item on 12/09/15 which was, and still is, listed as ""In stock, Shipped within 2-4 days"". It is now 06/10/15 and no goods. I have emailed them twice on 19/09/15 and 02/10/15 and received no response until today I found by accident that they had left a message in my order history on 02/10/15 that ""Due to an error of one of our suppliers, we are still waiting for the product to be resupplied"". No indication of when that is likely to be and of course the item webpage still shows ""In stock, Shipped within 2-4 days"". I have requested a refund and will certainly never go near them again.

Order still ""processing"" after almost 4 weeks, no customer response:Order placed on 12 Aug 15 for a couple of Eduard PE frets for 1/350 USS Hornet. Emailed at least three times through different avenues, reply to my order email, email through their site, and email through PayPal. No reply from any of those. Phone call to their area code 617 number, French message answer. Left message there to call me. No reply. Called the place listed to return items in Arkansas, which on Google maps appears to be a residence. Left a message on the english speaking answering machine to call me, no reply. Unless I have some response soon, next step is to file a grievance through PayPal, which could put a dent in their sales through that payment method.
