A bit slow to ship . Packing could be better.:The Item was shipped more than 10 days after payment . The decals arrived creased and damaged , Packing them with a piece of cardboard would have protected them . I don't think that would be too much to ask as I paid twice actual postage.

Shipped from across the pond?:Did not know the model kit was coming from Europe. I received the order in 2 weeks, a little long for a plastic model kit

Goede selectie, duurder dan andere portalen en DPD is nogal ingewikkeld als het op bezorgen aankomt:Zoals hierboven al samengevat is de selectie erg goed, maar daar staat tegenover dat de prijs hier en daar veel hoger is dan bij andere bekende portalen. Ik bestel in ieder geval alleen modellen bij 1001modellbau die ik nergens anders kan krijgen. In mijn geval is een levering voor werkende mensen met DPD nogal ingewikkeld, omdat je geen tijd kunt afspreken en de chauffeurs helaas niet altijd goed op de bel drukken.

Verpakking zeer slecht:Hallo, helaas was de verpakking niet strak. Op één na ontbraken alle kwasten die ik had besteld. Hoe moet ik nu verf aanbrengen zonder kwast? I have been disapointed so far because I received the wrong order and have had no response from customer service to date..:The processing of my order seemed to be OK. I received timely updates regarding when the products would be received for shipping. I also received a notice when the order was being shipped. I received a shipment in 2 to 3 days as was stated. However, I received the incorrect shipment. My order #14439 was not what I received. I received order #14539 which is not mine.I have sent 2 e-mails to customer service ([email protected]) and have had no response yet. The Website states that Customer Service is important to them. I have seen no evidence to date. A customer service telephone number for English speaking customers would be helpful. I am awaiting a response regarding what to do with the incorrect shipment I received and what is the status of my order for which payment was accepted.

Product Sent to the Wrong Address!:I ordered 4 airplanes from Canada to be sent to my son in a different province. The order was placed on Jan. 13,2013 and it arrived on Jan. 29,2013-over 2 weeks for delivery is unacceptable. More importantly, the planes arrived at my home and now I have to pay shipping to send them to him. Very disappointing!

Lange levertijd, hoge douanekosten en geen reactie op vraag: Geen orderbevestiging, levering liet lang op zich wachten, een vraag van mij werd niet beantwoord en last but not least hoge douanekosten omdat de artikelen niet correct waren aangegeven. Dit was zeker mijn laatste bestelling bij deze winkel.

All is well, that ends well, i suppose...:Initial order confusion, and difficult communication. Took time and Email discussions to get order back on track. Order delayed and was split into 2 parts. With delays, order was finely completed.

Very slow shipping, slow customer service response time:i thought the selection and pricing was pretty comparable, if not slightly lower than a few other places for the parts i was looking at. they also had the specific combination of parts, which i would have had to order from multiple places to get. but there was almost a full 3 weeks between ordering and delivery. while i was notified that the item was being prepared to ship, then another when it was just about to ship, then another when it did ship, i did not receive a single email answering my questions regarding the order.i might consider ordering again just for a second chance, but if shipping is the same speed, i'll go elsewhere for what i need...

Slow, misleading e-mails-:Took way too long to get order- was a cc order on-line, so saw no reason to wait the two weeks. Got many e-mails from the the whole time, misleading me into thinking ""it'll be here the next day or so""- actually a week or so more.I'll remember this in the future.

How long, oh Lord?:I placed my order on Dec 19 2012, that was a month ago. It STILL hasn't arrived. I am less than pleased.

Verzendproblemen: het product komt volledig overeen met de beschrijving, ik ben er absoluut tevreden over. Maar de verzendtijd was een ramp: bestelling verwerkt op 18.12.2012, overhandiging aan verzendbedrijf bevestigd per e-mail op 21.12.2012, afhaalbevestiging van DHL op 24.12.2012, hier geleverd op 04.01.2013. Het pakket was dus 14 dagen onderweg van Frankrijk naar mij, waarvan het alleen al 10 dagen in rust in het pakketcentrum in België. Ik begrijp dat Kerstmis en de jaarwisseling hete verzendtijden zijn, maar 10 dagen zonder enige beweging in een pakketcentrum is een beetje veel.In de verklaring in de mail stond dat de levering binnen 6 tot 9 dagen zou plaatsvinden.Dat werkte absoluut niet.MfGUwe Clausen

Product was correct but shipping was SLOW:I ordered a model kit and it took over two weeks for it to leave their warehouse. The transit time was not the issue it was how long it took for them to deliver it to the carrier. No explanation as to why, not too impressed!

De kerstman was laat en maakte de oude man verdrietig:Ik bestelde het model ""Halberstadt"" op 12 december en kreeg een bevestiging dat het binnen 6 tot 9 dagen geleverd zou worden. Alle bestellingen geplaatst voor 14 december zouden hun bestemming voor Kerstmis moeten bereiken. De verwachte zending kwam echter pas op 28 december aan. We waren toen al terug van ons kerstbezoek aan onze opa, die erg enthousiast was over het modelvliegtuigje met de naam van zijn woonplaats. Nu moet ik het cadeau opsturen, dus het zal met nog meer vertraging aankomen en hij zal hulp nodig hebben om het op te halen bij het postkantoor. Ik zal geen cadeauaanvragen meer aan dit postorderbedrijf toevertrouwen.

Encouraged:At first I was a liitle aprehensive. Never hard of them. But their website looked good and the prices were excellent. So...I decided to take the plunge. Everything worked out well...initially. Then...there was nothing. No communication...nothing about my order. This went on for a good 2.5 weeks. I was getting worried. No tracking information at their website...etc. So I began to write them and say..hey! Where's my order? They wrote back apologetically and said it's in process. Well...after a few rounds of email...they came through! I received my order and I was happy about the expereince....especially the price. I chalked up the negative part of the experience as their growing pains. Definitely will use again.

You had better be young when you order because you will be a lot older when you receive your package.:Slow, slower, much slower, full speed to the rear, stop.

How long does it take?:It took 22 days for me to receive the order. I would say the communication about the status of my order was sketchy at best,. Links provided in their emails took me to the French language version of the site, and even their communication to leave feedback was in French. Item was packaged very well. Not sure I would order from them again.

Many choices:I was impressed by the selection and the price range. I was disappointed about the time it took to receive the maquette.

Dubieus: Eerste bestelling via Simple Decals was een ramp. Levering vond plaats 3 weken na de verzendbevestiging van de verkoper, maar alleen met tussenkomst van PayPal geschillenbeslechting. Geen aanrader!

My order for decals:A good place for some odd decals but their notification and keeping me informed of my order was no so good. I had to email them twice about my order and to get a shipping tracking number. A better response with the customer needs work on by customer service.

Nice selection weakness in follow-thru.:I ordered six kits and got a confirmation of the order and notification that the order was filled.Then, two weeks passed with no comment whatsoever. I prodded with an email. They looked into it, then told me it was in transit. What I received was one kit short of the order and no explanation was provided.

Slow mailing:It took over 3 weeks to arrive. It was sent back for postage due.

Zeer lange levertijd:De levering duurde 3 weken, veel te lang. Een trackingnummer was niet beschikbaar of te krijgen. De verzendkosten zijn veel te hoog, maar de kwaliteit van de producten is geweldig.

Model supper, prijs ok, maar de pakketprijs was de hamer uber 8 € voor een pakket dat 4,5 € kost: de prijs voor de verzending was de hamer meer dan 8 € en uw verzending zei slechts 4,50 bij de invoer en dan meer dan 8 € op de factuurDank Michael Fey

Lang wachten en dan defecte levering:Ik was tot nu toe niet gewend aan zo'n lange wachttijd voor een bestelling. Toen de levering arriveerde twijfelde ik of alles wel in perfecte staat was aangekomen. Helaas werd mijn vrees bevestigd, want de vacuüm getrokken vliegtuigschijf van Spuadron was volledig geplet in de noppenfoliezak.

Floating:Dus aan de positieve kant, het pakket kwam aan zonder schade. Negatief is dat ik verbaasd was over de levering toen ik de koerier van het postkantoor Fr.28.- douanerechten moest betalen en bijna 3 weken moest wachten tot het pakket na betaling aankwam.Ik heb het toch met plezier in elkaar gezet, dus ik zal bij jullie bestellen als ik geen model in Zwitserland krijg.

A needed service but with notable problems.:1001 modelkits is a needed service for those of us who like obscure and hard to find model kits but their are some serious flaws in their system. Firstly their website was often down or not accessible for periods of time. Secondly, just after making a order with them the email address I used was compromised and I needed to change passwords. Thankfully it was a email address with negligible info for thieves to use. Third, I ordered a specific as advertised scale model (CHI HA tank 1:72) but was given a slightly larger scale model (1:76) instead. Finally, a couple of the models I purchased were either intentionally or unintentionally opened or tampered with. If I'm paying full price for a new product then I would expect it to be untouched. As mentioned I am thankfull that 1001 model kits exits because theirs no one else out their like them that I've found but I'm wary of ordering again from them.
