Aankoop van verschillende modelartikelen bij 1001:Zeer goede klantbehandeling, ik werd onmiddellijk per e-mail op de hoogte gebracht wanneer een artikel niet op voorraad was en kreeg nog een bericht wanneer het pakket werd verzonden. Beter dan dat wordt het niet.

I understand that this product was coming from the Czech Republic and had to go through several locatoins to get to me. The vender told me to expect the product in two weeks from shipment. That was accurate but it took a week to process the order.

Kleuren voor Rodan (Humbrol): het is jammer dat de gespecificeerde kleuren niet in het assortiment zitten en er geen indicatie is van alternatieve opties, bijv. H97, H180, H202.

WORST INTERNET PURCHASE EVER:This company is apparently strictly a 'middleman' that does not warehouse its products except in very few rare cases if you read any other reviews or take my impression. At no time did they have a clue as to my order status, location of said order, or real time stock quantities. Customer service is automated, with canned responses, and few and random. I should have been clued by their policy of charging for the item when ordered, not when shipped, so you have no option to cancel or refund an order after no contact or response after an extended wait period. If you use them expect double the wait for shipping and handling (items ship to them and then to you) and notice fluctuating site pricing. It took my order three weeks to arrive, and they said it was crossing the Atlantic the day before it was dropped on my porch on the US west coast. Most of their stock is sold to the public directly through the manufacturers. Good luck.

Great Stuff but SLOW Shipping:Ordered decal sheets which I could not find anywhere else and which were indicated as in-stock. Confirmation e-mail stated 6-8 days delivery time. 14 days after placing order I received an e-mail ""updating"" me and stating items were shipped from Europe and would need to stop at US facility before finally being sent to me. Items arrived well protected in rigid cardboard flat mailer and in great condition after about 4 weeks. Keep in mind that at the same time I placed this order I placed some other orders with vendors in Australia and Singapore. I received those orders in about 1 week via direct international mail as flat packages (just like these decals). Denver (where I live) to Paris distance is 4900 miles. Denver to Sydney is 8300 miles and Denver to Singapore is 9000 miles - get the picture? I don't know why it should take so long to get a flat mailer from 1001, but they really need to work on improving their shipping times. That being said, if I needed something that they had I would be confident ordering from them in the future, but would be aware of the long wait time.

I can think of nothing that is wrong with 1001 Modelkits:I found some items that were not available from other dealers, so I ordered what I needed from 1001, and even though what I ordered was stocked at their overseas supplier, I received my order within 15 days of order being placed.

Veeeeery slowwwww......:Very impressive site with lots of goodies for the modeling enthusiast but…I registered and placed my first order for 4 decal sheets on April 1st.The prices all over the site were within the market range. But the postage charged (8.90€) was excessive even for registered mail for a 20 gr. envelope.All the items were marked as available and 3 of them had 5-6 day shipping time indicated. I paid thru Paypal on the same day.The next day I received an e-mail message that the order has been processed and that I will receive my order in 6-8 days.After ten (10) days (on April 11th) I received another e-mail saying that my order has been shipped!!!Because the shipment had not arrived on April 29th, I sent an e-mail asking for details and where do they ship from. I got an answer the next day saying that they ship from France and that surface mail (!!!) might take longer to arrive.On May 12th I wrote again to their customer service complaining about the long delay in their delivery and asking for an answer. I also opened a dispute in Paypal’s resolution centre. I got a message the next day saying that the envelope must be lost and that one of the decal sheets was no longer available.I was given the option to buy something else from the site and so I did. The new order was processed the next day (May 14th), I received an e-mail on May 19th that it will be shipped soon (!!!) and finally an e-mail on May 21st that it was shipped (more than a week after the new order was placed).The envelope arrived on May 27th which is within the normal range for an intra EU 1st class mail. Mind you the postage affixed was 1,35 € !!!!I have to point out that I trade over the net constantly and never had a problem with lost mail in over 600 transactions during the last 8 years or so.There is something definitely wrong with their very slow shipping and equally slow customer response service. Possibly the items sent from the EU are not in stock there and have to be shipped from elsewhere thus the one week between ordering and shipping. I cannot detect any malicious intent but I am skeptic about any future purchases from them……

GLUE ALL OVER MOTHER""S TABLE, Won't be able to set down for week!:I won't buy anymore that you must use glue on. Mom threw them away after I glued apiece of a plane to the table. I have to pay to get the table refinished.

Outanding Detail:The model will make a perfect gift for a close friends son to build and will be a nice bedroom dresser display item once finished.

Rubbish. Utter, unutterable rubbish.:Their internet stock levels are a fiction. Their emails re unavailability do not agree with the items they actually send nor with later emails they send. When they do send something, they send the wrong items. Perhaps next time they should make sure the guide dog is awake when picking stock how an American landing craft can look like a Tiger II I don't know clever German camouflage I suspect. Avoid this firm like the plague. My advice is to buy from (external reference) in the UK. I will from now on.

Excellent Products:The models from 1001modelkits are excellent. The delivery was fine but you do have take in consideration that some items ship from overseas. So the waiting period may be a few weeks. However, every model builder knows that it does take time to get items. My items actually came in a few days earlier than expected. That made me happy, happy, happy. They do have models that are hard to find. All this together makes it a great experience and I will be ordering from them again in the near future.

Imex Confederate Infantry - the lost battalion?:Ordering, delivery and price were first rate - I will use again.I cannot say the same for the product. This set has been out of production for many years so I was lucky to find them but they are not as good as other figures in this series. I have compared them to the original poses on Plastic Soldier Review and these are just cheap copies in brittle plastic. I would love to know why Imex produced such an inferior set. Does anyone know the story behind this?

Good company, but suffers from slow shipping and customer service response.:Good company, that shipped my item well protected. However, one item was out of stock, and it took them around two weeks to let me know. In that same time, I placed orders with their competitors, got notification of shipping and received my order. When I inquired about the delay, it took a couple of days to get a response. They need to tighten up these areas to really be first class. That said, depending on the item and my need, I would consider ordering from them again.

Provided needed item in reasonable time.:I was trying to locate a specific ship model and was having no luck. I tried 1001modelkits and the item was there. I ordered it and was advised via e-mail that the model would have to be shipped from overseas to the warehouse in Arkansas and then to me. The item I wanted arrived eventually and in excellent condition. I was very pleased with my dealings with 1001modelkits.

Good, but delivery time takes really long:very competitive prices and very good customer service. The only thing that nags me about them is there very long shipping time and costs.

waste of time and money:Hey,I would like to share with you my worst buying experience I've had so far , here are the details of the case :I saw many publications in magazines of models building from about 1001modelkits.com , after I checked and compared prices and seeing positive reviews online I decided to try and do a purchase from them. the site seem very impressive and serious , with huge stock and tempting prices - including low postage. I made the purchase at 7.3.14 and according to the site terms it has been said that the shipment will be sent in no more than 48 hours. After several days that i did not received from them any email to document the purchase (which I usually get right away from my experience from buying in many websites) I contacted their customer service department and after a few days I received the following laconic message :"" Dear customer ,Rest assured that we do our best to deliver our customers quickly.You will receive a tracking number as soon as the package is sent.Best regards,Customer service 1001modelkits""Since the message said nothing about delivery time, estimated shipment or reason for the delay (all products were marked as available and in stock ) I tried to contact again to their customer service department with email's and direct messages to their online services but until now I did not get any response or any replay .this looks like just a scam to rub you out of your money!
